What customers say
This well-maintained campsite offers stunning mountain views and a peaceful atmosphere, with many guests highlighting the beautiful location and proximity to Beddgelert village via a lovely riverside walk. Pitches are generally spacious, and facilities are clean and well-kept, though some mention them as dated. Staff are consistently praised for being friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The site is ideal for walkers, with numerous trails accessible directly from the grounds. WiFi is available, though phone signal is poor. Some guests noted midges, and a few found the price high, but overall, visitors expressed a strong desire to return.

Electric grass campervan or tent pitch
Liked We arrived and were advised of the pitch we had been allocated. We made our way and found the site to be water logged as it had been raining heavy the night before.
I asked if they had alternative and we were offered another pitch.
Overall the site is clean and neat and well maintained. Staff very friendly and pleasant. The riverside walk is a lovely bonus especially if you like a nice walk in the evening.
Lots of local walks from the site without the need to take the car, which is a bonus.
Disliked Lack of toilets and showers for such a big site

fantastic site. Cant wait to return!!
Electric grass campervan or tent pitch
Liked Site was really clean, river runs down the side and around, loads of places to swim/paddle. Or theres a massive lake a short walk away!
Easy walks all around or harder if you choose. Copper mine is just at the end of the site so great walk with a park!
Staff went out of their way to accommodate us as we traveled with family and situated us close by!
Disliked We loved our stay.
Theres nothing much to dislike.
Id just say theres a family field to play on as ball games are not allowed on site. But it would have been great if there was a little
Play area or even goals for the kids.

Totally worth it
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Quiet at night, camp location was easy to find, plenty of space for families, absolutely stunning views! Helpful friendly staff. Overall, this is a great place to set up camp.
Disliked The showers could do with a few more cubicles but that’s the only fault I can find

Amazing. If in hardstanding, take a good length electric cable!
Electric hardstanding and grass motorhome pitch
Liked We went with a roof top tent and shelter sheet set up.
Loved the facilities available, kept very clean and tidy and was never far from amenities with there being 2 "ablution" blocks on site. The WiFi signal was perfect as there was no phone signal in the area. I was able to plot routes on the OS app and upload them to my watch with no issues.
The actual pitch itself was hardstanding with water and electric. It was very well done, very neat and pleasing to the eye.
The views were amazing, a good distance walk to Beddgelert, Moel Hebog as the nearest summit to ascend and lakes just a few km away. Later found out this is where series 2 of Our dream farm with Matt Baker was filmed (and bumped into the winners carrying out some conservation work).
The atmosphere was relaxed and there was enough space between pitches that you don't feel like youre on top of each other.
Disliked I think that if booking as a family there should be a separate family zone for tents. Although this may be down to the time of year and pitch availability a large family group with lots of children isnt pleasant to be around ( i am a father myself and I wouldn't want to be placed around couples/single travellers with just one child).
