Non-electric grass pitch
Liked This is a very handy site in North Wales. 1/2 Km from Dyserth village & New Inn & The Red pub / cafe bar / restaurants.
We went into the second site this time and went off grid with no issues. Quiet site at sunset
Disliked The adjacent road is fairly busy from 7am & generally quiet from about 10pm.
This could be in an issue if under canvas.

Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Chilled check in, accessible and decent facilities. Very quiet and even had a duck wake me up in the morning! Quacking!
Park was a great size for kids and lots of space for them to run around! No wifi though, but understandable.
Disliked Couldn’t see the animals even thought it was a pet rescue. Would have loved to have said hello to the puppers.

From the manager: Thank you for your review, yes it's quite on weekday as weekend are very busy. The stream that runs through the campsite is a haven for wild life and we have resident ducks that have made home here a have baby each year, that why we have closed it to public access as we don't want ness disturbing plus there's rabbits and water voles also.
The reason people cant go round the pet rescue is that the dogs we have in are OLD, some on medication and other who have behaviour issues. The dogs are walk around site 2 perimeter at lest twice a day, so you could have seen them then but we do ask campers not to approach as some we are trying to socialize and we don't want any accident. The zoo at Colwyn Bay is open and some animals I believe you can feed, it's a lovely day out and only 20 minutes away from our campsite.
Until your next visit happy camping and safe travels

Lovely campsite situated in North Wales! Well worth the visit!
Electric optional grass pitch
Liked The campsite was beautifully situated and really easy to find. The plots were more than big enough on Site 2. The toilets and shower while basic were perfect! The showers were lovely and clean and easy to use. The campsite is near to many different destinations, worth the money and worth switching off from the internet for a a few days with signal not being great on site. The campsite was always quiet and everyone was respectful. The welcome was informative and the owners were kind in supporting us in any way they could!

From the manager: Thank you for your comprehensive review we are sure it will help other campers see the positive side of small family run for charity sites.
We have found most campers like a break from the internet and those that need it for work normally have their own from the service provider.
Plus we were quoted a huge amount of money for WiFi £3000+ and as we raise funds for our on site charity Pet rescue welfare we definitely cant afford it.
So until your next visit happy camping and very safe travels

Electric optional grass pitch
Liked Great for kids to play out on the swing sets you can see them from your pitch. My youngest child loved the freedom and I loved the safety this offered. Was food available on site my personal opinion i think this was abit overpriced £6 for a basic cheeseburger. But we enjoyed our stay there and would go back again.
Disliked Not really disliked but would be better if offered wifi, and the hot tub is not free to use needs to be booked for extra
