What customers say
This is a well-located, peaceful campsite, praised for its stunning views and proximity to the Four Waterfalls walk. Visitors highlight the friendly and helpful staff, clean facilities including hot showers, and the option to have campfires. While the site is described as basic but functional, some mention the sloping pitches and limited facilities during busy periods. Overall, it's considered excellent value for money and a highly recommended spot for exploring the Brecon Beacons.

Excellent site, varied pitches, awesome views and direct trail access.
Non-electric grass motorhome pitch
Liked We loved the views and the relaxed parking atmosphere. Everything was clean and excellent walking trails directly from the campsite.
Disliked I can’t say that we disliked anything. Yes there’s limited showers and you needed a torch for the toilets on the main field but isn’t that part of the fun of camping. Suggest that you take levellers if in a van.

Basic rural site, good price, OK if you do not need mod cons.
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked No marked pitches, setup where you want.
Four waterfalls trail is only 3/4 mile away.
Local shop within walking distance (only takes cash).
Quiet, rural location.
Disliked At the time of the stay there was no electricity in the toilet block (think - no lights at night).
Only 1 shower (of 3 in the main block) was working (see electricity problem).
The site is on a sloping field with limited flat areas for pitching up.
Fires built on the ground is allowed - which unfortunately means that many of the flat pitching areas had the remnants of fires/ash right where you want to pitch.

Spacious pitches, campfires allowed, easy access…
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Spacious pitches, campfires allowed, easy access in and out of the campsite. Good location, close to the 4 waterfalls hike.
Disliked No electricity or hot water in toilets/showers. Very difficult to enjoy a freezing shower while it's raining outside.

I wouldn't stay in a tent again. Is fine in a caravan or motorhome.
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Good amount of space.
View was great.
Access to the waterfall trail was great.
Pub close by (make sure to book).
Disliked There are very few flat pitches; absolutely ridiculous sloped field.
There are two wc/shower blocks...one is close to the field and was a discrace; no lighting, no locks on doors, no hot water, no toilet paper.
The second block has two wc's only, very small sink area (one or two person max), and only one shower...this was very clean, but a bit pointless unless you want long que for shower and don't mind walking quite far to the wc.
There are no electric pitch options.

Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Very spacious, choose your own pitch, no check out time so could park here for the waterfalls walk instead of the overcrowded car park.
Disliked Nothing, all good

Disliked May be harder for families with children.
