What customers say
This campsite boasts a fantastic riverside location with easy access for water sports and walks. Campers praise the friendly and helpful staff, as well as the convenient on-site cafe and food truck options. Many appreciate the relaxed atmosphere and the freedom to choose pitches. However, a recurring point of feedback is the need for refurbishment and improved cleanliness in the toilet and shower facilities. Some guests also reported occasional noise from other campers.

Overall we had a lovely, relaxing stay
Non-electric grass and earth tent pitch
Liked The pitches were super spacious, and lots of freedom to go where ever we liked. Staff were super friendly and pointed us to everything we needed. The pizzas on the Friday were perfect, and super easy to prepare-order and collect.
Disliked The facilities were where the campsite was let down. There’s a toilet/shower block near the cafe which was pretty far to where we were told to camp. That block only had two toilets for the ladies and the whole block could do with updating as felt very old and forgotten about. The day two that block was out of order so had to use the toilets in the main house. Unfortunately it was the same story where they needed a really good clean.

Non-electric grass and earth tent pitch
Liked We had a fantastic stay, there was plenty of room and we got to choose our pitch. Toilets and showers worked great, the ping pong table and stretch tent over picnic benches were really handy. Being so close to the river was lovely, we walked and swam with the dogs along the river next to the campsite.
Disliked Weren't overly great at responding to emails. But were absolutely lovely onsite.
