Spacious caravan pitches and lovely surroundings

General

  • Adults-only site in a secluded hill location
  • Free pitch and putt and book/DVD library
  • Large enclosed dog exercise area

After a bit of peace and quiet? Uncrazy Daisy Bank Touring Park takes adults only, and is tucked far from the madding crowd amidst heavenly hills on the Wales-Shropshire border.

The hardstanding, serviced pitches have free wifi and luxe bathroom facilities, and there’s a shop which sells homemade local tucker, plus a large, enclosed exercise area for Fido.

Relaxation is the name of the game here, so the on-site entertainment is low key: free pitch and putt, and a book and DVD library. Many guests spend their time exploring the seductive scenery surrounding the site, walking along Offa’s Dyke path, Kerry Ridgeway, the Severn Way, or in the Shropshire Hills (Long Mynd and the Stiperstones are both nearby).

The pitches were well spaced out to give privacy and a good view. The hosts were very helpful and friendly; it was really useful to be able to buy a map and get advice on planning a suitable walk. Having level slabs on the pitch made setting up easy.

    So much to like :
    • Level pitch they have set in slabs you put your wheels on you just have level the front jockey.
    • lay out of site well thought out not on top of each or facing odds ways. Lovely view outstanding beauty.
    • extremely helpful and friendly staff also some pitches are seasonal and the people that have them are also friendly saying hi or smiling, refreshing as We have been to so sites that have seasons pitches and we have felt like we were intruding or they were not happy to make eye contact. Not here !
    • toilets and shower all in one Open plan and Spacey, very very clean.
    • very pretty site, flowers, trees wild life and the stars at night wow 🤩
    • there’s a lovely little well kept shop with maps and other essential items.
    • theres a pitch and putt area and an useful information hut.
    • They Have pastries you can pre order and collected for the morning.
    Got to have really recommended
•We had a pizza that they serve on Saturday OMG we are pizza people:) and tbh fussy as we love stone backed and not everyone can do it THESE were amazing if we lived near I know we would have them regularly and the price was so reasonable! The salad and garlic bread was delicious to.
    • safely is first ! you are shown to your pitch and your service area is sprayed and cleaned !!
    In front of you.
Everywhere has hand gel, spray safety guidance info at every point also they call you the day prior arriving to check all is well and go through arrival procedures. ( never had this before).
you get a pre packed welcome pack with so much information that is useful, restaurant places of interest and takeaway numbers and post code.
Also other campsite - broachers of same quality.

We will definitely be coming back not just because of these beautiful site but the area is overwhelmingly beautiful we walk and bike and there’s so much to explore. See you again XX

The meet and greet very sociable. Explaining the new rules and regulations clearly. The peace and the quiet even through the gale force winds that blew for the first day or two. The screech owls songs at three in the morning.
