After a bit of peace and quiet? Daisy Bank Touring Park takes adults only, and is tucked far from the madding crowd amidst heavenly hills on the Wales-Shropshire border. The hardstanding, serviced pitches have free wifi and luxe bathroom facilities, and there’s a shop which sells homemade local tucker, plus a large, enclosed exercise area for Fido. Relaxation is the name of the game here, so the on-site entertainment is low key: have a go at the free pitch and putt, or borrow something from the book and DVD library. Many guests spend their time exploring the seductive scenery surrounding the site, walking along Offa’s Dyke path, Kerry Ridgeway, the Severn Way, or in the Shropshire Hills (Long Mynd and the Stiperstones are both nearby).

喜欢 Great hot showers, clearly marked large piches, beautiful views, & very very peaceful

不喜欢 Wifi not the best, & difficult to go walking as many public walkways we tried were overgrown. Nothing within walking distance i.e pub, but if you do want to walk, you'll need to walk on the main road for the most part if you decide to leave the park on foot.

喜欢 Lovely site. Owners were so welcoming. Beautiful views over the countryside. Facilities all very modern and clean.
Nice touch being able to order pastries for the morning they were very tasty!
Site was nice and quiet.
Dog walking area was enclosed and a great space for our dog to be off lead.
Wifi was hit and miss.

喜欢 Very quiet and respectful park. Efficient check-in. Choice of shady or sunny pitch (I had booked for the Meadow because of the beautiful view but we asked to move to a shady pitch, which was accommodated). Facilities were good. Spacious pitches, with EHU, water and waste at each. Felt safe and secure.

Please do not try to use satnavs in the last five miles of your journey: they will try to take you down lanes that are neither suitable for a caravan nor necessary to go down. The site is on the A489 between Craven Arms and Churchstoke. If travelling east on the A489 from either Welshpool or Newtown follow the signs for Craven Arms once in Churchstoke. Pass Harry Tuffins garage and supermarket on your right. Daisy Bank is a further two miles on the righthand side of the road. If travelling via Shrewsbury, take the A488 sign posted from the A5 to Bishops Castle. It is approximately 30 minutes from the A5. The turning onto the A489 is a very sharp one to your right travelling down hill towards the village of Lydham. Check the map and follow it carefully so as not to miss the turn. If travelling from Craven Arms, take the A489 and follow all signs to Newtown. The site is signposted from Lydham and is approximately two miles on the lefthand side.
