Liked: Everything! We had a wonderful experience! The pool is delightful, the staff were very helpful if you needed them. The toilets and showers were clean. You have a lovely view of the sunset & a pebble beach. We drove down to new quay in the day to see the dolphins. A 10 minute drive to a Tesco in Aberystwyth. I will be back soon!
Disliked: We didn’t dislike anything at all, only things that are maybe worth noting. - I really enjoy swimming, however there were lots of children in floats in the pool which made it very difficult to try and enjoy. May be worth introducing adults hour only, so maybe the first hour in the morning and the last hour in the evening to give us more chance to enjoy the pool.

From the manager: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We're thrilled to hear that you had such a delightful experience with us. It's great to know that you enjoyed the pool, found our staff helpful, and appreciated the cleanliness of our facilities. The sunset view and pebble beach are indeed special, and we're glad you had the chance to see the dolphins in New Quay.
We appreciate your feedback regarding the pool. Introducing an adults-only hour is a fantastic idea, and we'll certainly consider it to enhance the swimming experience for everyone.
We look forward to welcoming you back soon.

From the manager: Hi Sarah,
Thank you for sharing your experience at Morfa Bychan Holiday Park! It sounds like you had a fantastic weekend stay during Whitsun. The location of your pitch overlooking the sea must have been stunning, and it's great to hear that the park was close enough for your kids to play while you could keep an eye on them. The pool being a hit with your twins and the lovely coastal walk into Aberystwyth are definitely highlights. It's also reassuring to know that the shower and toilet block were super clean.

From the manager: Hi Dawn,
Thank you for your review and for choosing to stay with us at Morfa Bychan Holiday Park! We're delighted to hear that you found our staff friendly and the site immaculate. It's great to know you enjoyed the fish and chips and pizza as well.
We appreciate your feedback regarding the WiFi. Just to clarify, the optional extra WiFi is managed by a third party and not directly by the park. We state on the pitchup page that wifi is not available so do not actively advertise it due to so many people expecting a wifi service which we do not provide.
Thank you again for your valuable feedback, and we hope to welcome you back soon!
Best regards,
😊

Liked: The view was spectacular, peaceful. Helpful and pleasant staff
Disliked: The roads leading to this park could be so avoidable. There's 2 ways in one should be an entry an one should be a exit. But this is not the case so got stuck on the way there and on the way out in a motorhome, both refused to back up. The roads are so bad for that reason won't travel there again

From the manager: Dear Joanne R.,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed the spectacular views and found our staff helpful and pleasant.
We understand your concerns regarding the roads leading to the park. Unfortunately, the road system is managed by the local highways authority, and we have no control over it. The website does recommend the best entrance to use for access to the park from the main road which can be a lot easier than the access directed on sat navs etc. We will, however, pass on your feedback to them in the hope that improvements can be made.
We appreciate your understanding and hope to welcome you back in the future under better circumstances.

Liked: We came with our son, daughter-in-law and two young granddaughters. Although the wet and windy weather was especially noticeable because the site is on a cliff with great sea views, it was lovely to see the children making new friends and playing on the swings and in the swimming pool.

From the manager: Hi Chris,
Thank you for your feedback and for choosing to stay with us at our Kestrel clifftop pitch. We're delighted to hear that you found our facilities and site setup brilliant!
We apologize if you felt there was a lack of empathy from our staff during the adverse weather conditions. Our team prioritizes the safety of all our guests, and we were actively assisting campers who were struggling with the strong winds. We understand how challenging it can be to manage in such conditions, especially with young children.
Perfect site with clean facilities.

Liked: I have to start with how clean this park is. The toilets/showered are cleaned every day, there is no litter. It is a very well maintained park. Dog exercise area fantastic for our big dog to be able to run around. Nicr big level pitch. We walked the coastal path there and back to Aberystwyth which if you like a good walk i would recommend. Beautiful views at camp and although you are not allowed fire pits or a bbq on your pitch you can have one on the beach. No WiFi but we don't really care about that when we're away.
Disliked: I've not marked down for this but felt a little annoyed that we followed the rules on our pitches of no awning/gazebo allowed so we left ours at home and yet everyone else on our row had theirs up but thats pur fault for being rule followers i guess. Also think missing a massive money maker by not having a bar or pop up truck serving drinks
Recommend to friends Visit again
From the manager: Thank you, Gemma, for your detailed review! 🌟 We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed the cleanliness and maintenance of our park, as well as the beautiful views and dog exercise area. It's great to know you had a wonderful walk along the coastal path to Aberystwyth.
We apologize for any confusion regarding the awnings and gazebos. To clarify, pull-out awnings and shelters are indeed allowed on certain pitches. We appreciate your feedback and will ensure better communication of these rules in the future.
Your suggestion about having a bar or pop-up truck serving drinks is noted, these sugestions have been tried over the years but do not come to anything permanent, we occasionnally have events which we have a pop up bar attend.
We look forward to welcoming you back to Morfa Bychan Holiday Park soon. Safe travels and see you next time! 😊

Liked: Wow what a beautiful site, we had a pitch overlooking the sea, with our own drinkable water tap. The camp site was clean and well cared for, the play area for the children was lovely and the toilet/shower blocks were always clean, even the mop and bucket left out to mop out after you was clean. The staff were all welcoming and friendly and the children enjoyed the pool.
Also very close to Devil's Bridge, which is definitely worth a visit.
Disliked: Narrow lanes to access camp site, but that's just me as I don't like driving down them. We had horrendous winds while staying, so had to take awning down at 3am, but definitely won't stop me visiting again.
