Liked It was safe feeling as it had a wall all round.the pitches were well kept clean and level. There is so much to explore with walking the dog . We were there when the antique market was there . It was fantastic the people were so friendly. It was £7 each adult to get into market a bit expensive. Son loved the walks in woods. So easy to get to.
Disliked Antique market was expensive to get in maybe a discount for campers shop didn't have essential like milk bread etc

Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked Walled garden protected us from any wind. Large pitches, small toilets and showers but functional. Absolutely loved it. We had already visited the house years ago when our kids were young so we never did the tour. Nice walks down by the river. Will definitely be back.

Nice venue but has potential to be better
Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked Good layout of pitches - reasonably level and spaced out the hedges are a nice feature, looks very attractive:
Disliked Pitches were narrow for a caravan grass was not cut short enough even though four hour grass cutting took place all afternoon which was very noisy.
Music from the event was very intrusive in the evening along with the alarm repeatably going off for long periods of time. Concerned over the burning of the grass cuttings the following day that filled the caravan with smoke. Due to the hot weather it could have been fire hazard.

Liked Great location, very quiet. Nice walks around Paxton House and along the Tweed to the Chain Bridge and the honey farm. Great pub for dinner in Paxton village 10 minutes walk away.
Disliked No electricity on the site in the morning which was a real pain. Wasn’t restored until just before we left at 10am.
