Liked: Nothing
Disliked: This place is like faulty towers on steroids! Where do I start? Firstly this place offers ZERO fully serviced pitches, they sell them as fully serviced but they only offer electric hookup, I turned up without a aqua roll as my caravan connects directly to the water supply and also didn’t have a waste hog as we connect directly to a drain, which is why I bought a FULLY serviced pitch, I ended up borrowing both off a friend who lives locally, day 2 of my 3 day trip, the water goes off, that meant no flushing toilets on the site, no showers, nothing…. Not even toilet paper in the loos! Which were full to the brim as other customers used the loos but couldn’t flush! Yuck!! This remained like that for 12 hours! The water came back for approximately 2 hours and went off for the final day, it’s such a shame as the pub attached to the site was actually nice, we didn’t eat but we saw some pretty decent looking food going past my table as we needed a drink by this point, so it’s a shame really. They offer hot tubs on site which seems nice but it’s £160 for a day!!! PLUS £100 deposit I mean who on earth would use a hot tub at that price? Mind you not that it would Have made a difference as they had no water half the time. All in all I would prefer to wild came and take everything I need than stay here again, the toilets and showers were grubby and not worth the £35 a night they are charging, I did complain but it fell on deaf ears, I asked countless times when’s the water coming back but got ”when the tank refills as someone left a tap on“ how ridiculous the entire site can be left without water simple due to 1 person leaving a tap on? They have a captive audience here as it’s the only site near Dublin, I think their moto is if you’ve paid for a service pitch your stuffed by the time you get there, and you’ve paid so good luck getting money back.

Liked: Nothing, sorry, electric worked.
Disliked: No toilet paper, toilets a tight fit, door too close. Showers were filthy. No lock on shower door. No hot water to wash with. Sink to wash dishes was outside and filthy and only a cold tap supply. No mirror No dogs allowed on site but wife was harrassed by a dog from a camper. Water fi was from a hose kept on the floor. Overall, after 55 years of camping caravanning and motohoming, this is the worst site I have ever been on, never again.

Kortom waardeloos .

Liked: Lovely view of sunset.
Disliked: Where should I start!
This was our second choice of site as the other was full (Good Friday). When we arrived, saw that there were piles of wood, and building materials everywhere. The road and parking bays were just cinders. Then we checked out the facilities which were dire! Showers full of dirty footprints and nowhere to hang your things. Benches looked like been knocked together with pallets. Old Belfast sink outside to wash up in, ( wouldn't have washed my dog in), no hot water, toilets could only just fit in. Had to lift a manhole cover to dump waste. Couldn't find a tap to fill water tank.
At 7:40am a van & trailer pulled up & dropped off road roller followed by wagon & a team of men then proceeded to lay tarmac outside one of the cabins opposite.
Once finished, they went & a guy came & rollered the tarmac flat.

Liked: We recently stayed at the standing stones in our motorhome and couldn’t have been more happy with the place. The facilities(toilets and showers) were amazing and the food and drinks less than 20 seconds walk from our truck were amazing too! We will definitely be back again and would highly recommend to anyone thinking of visiting.
