Church Farm: Pippin in the spring ( late Feb 2021 )

General

  • Spacious farm site in a peaceful Wiltshire village
  • In Kington Langley village, half an hour's drive from Bath
  • Quiet meadow location; on-site woodland for nature walks

Church Farm is a few minutes' stroll from Kington Langley, a rural village in the Wiltshire countryside. With large meadows and woodlands, it opens up stays with plenty of space, fresh air and comfort. Guests coming here can count on a good level of privacy too, as no more than 10 groups are welcomed to the 10-acre site at any one time.

This historic farm has buildings that go back to the 17th century, so it's quite in keeping with Kington Langley – a traditionally English spot with a duck pond, village green and croquet club. Elsewhere on site, there's pleasant natural scenery like living willow tunnels, ancient oaks and ash trees to admire.

Barbecues (lifted clear of the grass, please) and well-behaved dogs are allowed – they need to be kept on leads while on site, but you'll find plenty of space for them to run around in the nearby Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the edge of which is a 10-minute drive away.

Chippenham (five minutes' drive) has supermarkets, shops, cafés and a train line that can get you into central Bristol in 30 minutes or London in just over an hour.

Please note

No naked flames are allowed inside the hired accommodation units.

Commercial vehicles (vehicles used for work-related purposes, carrying goods or fare-paying passengers) and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site.

Guests are advised to bring a good quality torch with them as parts of the site are unlit.

Minimum spacing of 15 metres between pitches.

Please note that the toilet/shower facilities are unisex.

Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Units longer than 8 metres are not allowed.

Guests must bring their own duvets, pillows, sheets and towels when staying in rental accommodation. You will not be allowed to stay if you do not bring these items.

At least one of the party members must be aged 18 or over.

The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro) and/or any of the following: Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa.

No hen/stag parties permitted via Pitchup.com.
