What customers say
This is a peaceful, well-maintained campsite with spacious, level pitches and beautiful countryside views. Visitors highlight the friendly and helpful owners, clean basic facilities including hot showers and flushing toilets, and useful amenities like USB charging points and a covered shelter. Its location offers excellent walking opportunities into Salisbury. While generally well-received, some guests noted the single shower could lead to waits during busy periods and a lack of rubbish bins.

Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Quiet, with nice views and surroundings. Was perfect for a chilled out evening as I was passing through. Tory came out to say hi when I arrived and was very helpful. Only 3 toilets but it’s a very small site so wasn’t an issue at all. Toilets nice and were clean. Had everything I needed for a 1 night stay
Disliked There isn’t much within walking distance and the one pub that is required - for food. Not a fault of the campsite at all but wish I knew it was essential before I walked all the way there with no back up option.

Disliked Nothing it was exactly as described and exactly what we needed for the night.

Liked A Quiet site with all people there respectful of each other, not crowded either.
Tory came around to say hello and point people in the right direction which was nice.
Twenty mins walk from the pub and connected directly for walking and cycling the areas around.
Enjoyed my couple of days and would definitely return.

Liked Lovely view, great and thorough recommendations for walking, cycling etc, wonderful hot shower, handy charging points, level pitch, generally attracts nice, quiet people. The covered seating area affords the opportunity to chat with fellow campers.
Disliked Nothing to dislike :)
(As others have mentioned, you can hear the nearby road a bit, but it's just far enough away not to spoil the peaceful atmosphere.)

Lovely campsite.
Non-electric grass campervan pitch
Liked Lovely large field which was dry and well drained, surrounded by fields. Just see the spire of the cathedral in the distance. In the evening saw deer walking across adjoining fields. Was peaceful and quiet. Owner very kind and helpful.
Facilities were really clean. A nice little communal area with freezer and charging points.
Disliked Nothing about the campsite it was lovely. But route into town on the bicycle was rough and one part was overgrown with nettles.
