What customers say
This is a peaceful, back-to-basics campsite with stunning views. Guests appreciate the spacious, well-maintained field, clean portaloos, and convenient location close to a pub and walking routes. While facilities are basic, the affordable price and relaxed atmosphere are highly praised, making it a popular choice for a quiet getaway. Some reviewers note a sloping field and limited mobile signal.

From the manager: Not sure how to respond to this but I will do my best. Our prices have been kept the same ever since we opened three years ago, and we have no intention of increasing them for the foreseeable future because we love being able to share where we live. Everything we do costs us money, including the ‘smelly Portaloos’ and the upkeep and public liability insurance for the field. For £8 a night I’m not sure what you expected, but for us, that means we can cover our costs and make a little bit on top (we are a business so we need to at least make enough to pay our expenses). I’d also point out that Pitch Up take a piece of that £8 too (perfectly reasonable, they have to make money too), so to say that our campsite is overpriced is harsh. There are several really nice, and expensive, places to stay in the area that I would be happy to recommend for your next visit.
Excellent place to stay
Non-electric grass and earth tent or motorhome pitch (maximum 6 metres, sloping)
Liked A really easy and beautiful place to stay . Clean toilet , drinking water and a sink. The field is huge and relatively flat . There’s a really lovely pub about five minutes walk away . Yatton station is just 10 mins drive with lots of parking and a train to Bristol in ten mins or so . The site is really reasonably priced too , what more could you ask for !
Disliked Nothing at all .
