Campeggio tranquillo e spartano con tanto spazio e belle viste. Molti apprezzano i tramonti. Servizi essenziali (WC chimici e rubinetto), adatti per brevi soggiorni. Ideale per passeggiate, vicino a un pub. Buon rapporto qualità-prezzo per una vacanza rilassante.

Space, views, peaceful, pub, basic, no car needed

Mi è piaciuto Space, peace and quiet, tents are not on top of each other. Also quiet enough halfway June, lovely horses in the fields next to us. Very basic facilities, just a field, a portaloo and a tap with a sink. Nice pub with friendly service is a 3 min walk. Plenty of walks from the campsite, no need for a car. Shipham is a 15 min walk away and has a butcher plus shop. And the views!

Mi è piaciuto Huge field and they only allow 20 pitches so lots of space. Children friendly and everyone is very respectful if they have dogs. Great walks in rowberrow warren a few minutes away without getting in the car.

Mi è piaciuto Second stay at this site, exploring the surrounding area and nearby forest with my dog .
This site is very clean and well maintained. The porta loo was very clean and well stocked with essential items. The views are excellent whether enjoying your evening drinks and food as the sun sets or early morning cuppa.....there are two pubs very close by , walking distance,offering food and good quality beer if self catering isn't for you.
There was plenty of room for privacy and I found the other campers to be courteous and quiet. If you have a camp "bin" ensure it has a lid or is emptied at night due to scavenging wildlife. Good natured owner and friendly locals. planning to return.

Non mi è piaciuto Not a dislike- more toilets/ permanent toilets in the future would make this perfect. But given the price and location you really cant complain about anything!

Mi è piaciuto A great basic camping site with two clean portaloos and Belfast sink for water.
Easy access to a large field, tree and hedge lined to south and west with horse paddocks to the north.
Slightly sloping field.
We stayed one night camping in early June which was typically British: wet and windy.
Our hosts very kindly checked we were ok and staying dry. Top service!
Even with our weather the views are superb.
We didn't visit but there is a very popular foodie pub less than 5 minutes walk away.
Non mi è piaciuto If I was being really, really picky the sound of birdsong is occasionally drowned out by jet engines - Bristol airport is not far away.
