What customers say
This peaceful, rural campsite offers spacious pitches, a lovely river and stream for paddling, and farm animals to entertain children. Visitors appreciate the eco-friendly ethos, fire pits, and clean compost toilets, although some found them smelly. Lack of showers is noted, but the relaxed atmosphere and beautiful surroundings make it a popular choice for short stays.

I would stay again if in the area
Electric optional grass pitch
Liked Nice and quiet, the pitches are great, with each having bins and a fire pit area, although it rained so couldn’t have fire x
Disliked The communication with owners! Says phone anytime but no one answered … happened a few years ago also

Meadow non-electric grass pitch
Liked Lovely campsite. Clean facilities, nice big pitches, little stream with some tree swings on site, which was lovley with the weather we've had. The farm was a lovely added touch. My children loved being able to walk around looking at the animals. Nice little shop onsite selling their own produce. Only a short drive to Cheddar Gorge, wells and Glastonbury. We will definitely be back

Meadow non-electric grass pitch
Liked Nice river and goats. They look better after the goats than after the campsite.
Disliked Everything else was not in good condition, the space needs to be looked after. The toilets were extremely smelly, we had to leave to a different campsite in the final.

Meadow non-electric grass pitch
Liked The meadow was absolutely beautiful and everything my kids could ask for. Loads of lovely stream to paddle in, goats in the field over the stream to make friends with and loads of space to run wild.
It was a lovely chilled out atmosphere, no set pitches and plenty of space and freedom to do your own thing.
The toilets were definitely the nicest compost loos we've used and we really appreciated that they had running water for the sinks in them!
Disliked Whilst the loos were probably as good as compost loos can be, they did get quite hot and stinky towards the end each day. We were here in the heatwave though, in normal weather they would probably be fine.

If your after a quiet, rural, easy going site then this is the one.
Electric optional grass pitch
Liked A lovely rural site. Very quiet, rabbits & squirrels running about. Other animals to visit. An easy distance to both Wells & Wookey Hole by electric bikes. Didn’t get to try the shop.
Disliked A bit tricky to set up the electric, but got there in the end. Worked out at £5 for the 2 days, which is reasonable compared with other sites.
