What customers say
This campsite is praised for its friendly and helpful staff, clean facilities, and peaceful atmosphere. Many appreciate the lovely orchard walks, convenient A303 stopover location, and good value for money. While generally well-maintained, some guests noted it leans towards long-term residents and a few areas could benefit from modernisation, with shower temperature sometimes being inconsistent.

OK for a stopover, not really a holiday spot.
Non-electric grass touring pitch
Liked Great location for a A303 stopover.
Nice welcome from friendly staff
Pretty views
Disliked This appears to be a mainly residential/long term site, only a couple of short term vehicles.
Vans had the big propane bottles outside and their little 'garden' areas and some were rather scruffy.
It was OK, but we felt somewhat out of place.
Mens' loos not clean and poor showers with water running across floor between them.

Facilities good.
Disliked Ants. Can't be helped but take precautions.
Some more permanent residents whose pitches are untidy let the side down.

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked When i arrived (later then expected, stressed with being stuck in traffic). The guy at the reception cheered me up really welcoming, loved his banter ( sorry didnt get your name).
The site was lovely, spacious pitches very well kept, clean and tidy and plenty of places to walk my dog when it stopped raining.
There are a few permanent residents on site but that didnt bother me, everyone that I met was very friendly.
The toilet/ shower block clean and I thought it was a lush touch with the extra toiletries if you had forgotten to bring them with you.

Liked Large spacious field next to a lovely orchard walk and cafes nearby. Relaxed and quiet during our stay. Site is remote but does have a village nearby.
Disliked Nothing to dislike. We didnt ask or look for a drive over grey waste so not sure if they have one.
