What customers say
Reviewers consistently praise the beautiful views, friendly atmosphere, and clean facilities, particularly the shower blocks. Stan, the manager, is frequently mentioned for his welcoming and helpful nature. The on-site bar is a popular feature, though its opening times and food availability have sometimes been inconsistent. Some guests noted issues with noise from dogs or residents, and a few found the site less suited for tourers than for seasonal pitches. The site is generally described as peaceful, with spacious pitches. Manager comments indicate proactive improvements to safety with steps and efforts to clarify site rules regarding children.

Camping pod
Liked Bowdens is a very friendly, clean, and quiet place to stay, and the view across the valley is stunning. Stayed in the Pods, which were surprisingly comfortable. The pods have 2 outside chairs, picnic table & bbq outside, and lighting, electric sockets with usb & small kettle inside which was a nice bonus.
