What customers say
This campsite offers a safe, peaceful, and spacious environment ideal for families. Guests enjoyed the freedom for children to play, the clean amenities, and the welcoming Barn Bar serving excellent pizzas. While the distance to shower blocks and the need for additional toilet facilities closer to camping pitches were noted, especially on busy weekends, the site is considered a work in progress. The glamping experience was highly rated for comfort and amenities. Overall, visitors expressed a strong desire to return.

Amazing safari tent experience! Comfy beds,…
Beech 2 bedroom safari tent (five person)
Liked Amazing safari tent experience! Comfy beds, fresh linen, plenty of space, all you need is there. Decking is nice and spacey, plenty of pillows to cuddle, good big stable dinning table. Bbq available. Communal fire pit available. Good WiFi, bar on site is nice, have local sliders and ales, little onside shop. Really liked location and tent itself, will back soon
Disliked Shower and toilets used by everyone not only glamping as it states, as no control on it. Which is make many people waiting, run out of hot water and toilet paper. Also lock in one shower broken- some hook been screwed in to help but it doesn’t work. Outside sofa has very big gaps on, was putting all pillows around for our baby not to fall through.

Brilliant stay, fantastic family time and we can't wait to go back.
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked We absolutely loved our long weekend stay here.
We are a young family and it was brilliant for our kids 4 and 1 who had the freedom to run free.
The site felt very safe and was very peaceful.
The barn was a fantastic touch, specially with the family games box, bit of music and the pizzas were lovely and prices were decent.
Only interaction with staff was buying pizza and a drink at the barn and they were very friendly.
Liked the fact you chose your own pitch which was helpful as we traveled with another young family.
The kids loved looking at the donkeys and goats to.
The showers and toilets (including porter loo) were spotless.
Overall we will 100% return here and would highly recommend if your looking for a stress free, safe and peaceful place to stay.
Disliked The only negative would be the distance from the camping pitches to the shower block HOWEVER it's not a million miles.
And could possibly do with a few more showers and toilets as the site expands, having said they we traveled on a bank holiday weekend and only cued for the facilities one morning.

Good spacious camping field for us…
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Good spacious camping field for us as we were a big group - space for footie and running around etc. Facilities were clean and tidy. Barn Bar provided good pizzas and has a lovely bar.
Disliked Toilets were a trek away and no water tap for fill up water bottles nearby. I imagine that toilets and water will be available at the Barn Bar soon which will rectify that.
Hopefully the bar will also have more beer selection - couple of great local breweries very close by so could get a couple of kegs/barrels from them. Pizza cooking capacity would be great to scale up - could be a bit of a wait for food.

Pretty good, and with a few additions we’d definitely come back
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Plenty of room, nice to have to have space for the kids to run around
Disliked Toilets and running water are needed much nearer to camping field. The walk to the loos is too far for young children.
The Barn is a nice addition but could be so much better. A work in progress, but a couple of barrels of local beer would really make a huge difference. Pizzas were excellent

Will be an amazing site once all is complete
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Lovely open space, lovely barn bar and pizzas. Staff absolutely lovely.
Camped by the duck pond which was lovely to wake up to.
Disliked The whole site is a work in progress which we were made aware of, nothing I disliked but would hope more toilets blocks are made available closer to camping.

Had a great time. Lovely place.
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Such a lovely view across the fields. You can have as much space as you need. Very peaceful and sheltered.
Amenities are very clean and tidy with plenty of toilets and soaps
Disliked It does have quite a slope so be prepared to roll.
Quite a walk to the toilets and to get water.
