Liked We love Back of Beyond because of the enclosed woodland area which is perfect for letting our dog off lead. A great bar and the BoB team are all super friendly. Secure Adult only site, perfect for a relaxing break.
Disliked Not much within walking distance.
No TV signal, Phone and Data signal poor but the site has free WiFi which we found OK for streaming TV.

There are 3 walks you can do from the park, and we have flyers in reception to give you with them.

Disliked It was a shame there was not any entertainment the weekend my wife and I went, we should have been aware, that was our own fault. We have now booked a weekend where there is.

Liked It was a lovely campsite with spotlessly clean, modern facilities. The staff were so friendly and made us feel at home. The site is also dog friendly with a large wooded area where our dog could run about off her lead.
Disliked We struggled to get connected to the power supply initially but the staff were on hand to help us in the pouring rain.
There was a little bit of road noise in the morning but I don't think that would be an issue in the summer when the trees are in leaf.

Liked Staff were all so lovely and helpful, felt very comfortable there being a young solo traveler. The food wagon was incredible can’t recommend enough. Showers and toilets were spotless too, can’t complain about anything. Lots of nature and walks on site was genuinely perfect will definitely come back

Liked Lovely evenings in Monty's Bar with log fires and lovely atmosphere. Great to be able to eat evening food from the visiting food vans in the bar. Very clean and modern toilet blocks. Adults only makes this a very peaceful site.
Great bike riding in the forest and one the disused railway track.

Liked Nice campsite with spacious pitches, very clean shower and toilets. Nice on site pub with entertainment, also food van some days. Lovely walk in the woods for the dogs plenty of poo bins and a proper dog shower not just a hose.
Disliked The road to the site a little bump with a few pot holes

Liked Toilets and showers were warm and gleaming clean! On-site bar was nice. Our favourite thing though was the protected nature area where you can fish in the pond or river. This area was brimming with wildlife (in November!). We saw robin's, crows, swans,herons, ducks, deer, horses and a kingfisher! All in one afternoon. Lots of woodland walks too.
