What customers say
This campsite offers clean, comfortable tents with amazing views, a fire pit and picnic bench. Guests highlight the welcoming hosts, convenient location near Lyme Regis and Branscombe, and the quiet, small-site atmosphere with wildlife. Basic eco-friendly facilities, including a bucket shower, are appreciated for their novelty and cleanliness. Minor points include a slightly tricky initial location and a desire for more than one toilet. Sturdy tent pegs are recommended for the flinty ground.

Great spot.
Bluebell bell tent
Liked Clean, comfortable tent with bed, amazing view, fire pit and picnic bench.
You need to bring bedding, camp stove, kettle and lights.
It’s basic, compost loo and bucket shower, it was clean and fun!
We had a warm friendly reception from Eona and her children were so sweet greeting us enthusiastically and showing us the way up to the tent.
Brilliantly located just 6 min drive to Lyme Regis, great for a swim, nearby Branscombe with beach sauna and great walks and 20 min drive Bridport's great shops we had everything we needed for a great little break.
Disliked Having to go home after just 2 nights !

The perfect base for a beautiful coastal holiday
Non-electric grass and earth tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked - The location (great access to local beaches)
- The views
- The host
- The friendly but hands-off approach
- The small site
- The eco toilet and shower
- horses, dogs, and a chicken next door
Disliked I only wish there were two loos so you:
A) didn’t feel pressured to do your business in a rush in case someone
B) didn’t have to wait for your turn
But it’s a new site, so of course you need to start small :)

we just wanted a quiet weekend of camping and we got that and more
Non-electric grass and earth tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked communication, clean toilet, small field, quiet area and a lovely view and waking up to watching swifts dance over the valley was delightful.
Disliked difficult to find the first time but communication from host corrected that

Gorgeous site, lovely family, great location.
Non-electric grass and earth tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Wonderful campsite! Beautiful views. Run by a lovely family who couldn’t do enough to ensure we had an enjoyable weekend. Great location, loads of wildlife. Basic, cold water facilites, but all new and working well. Bucket shower was really fun on a hot day. Great value. Can’t recommend Newhaye Farm enough.
Disliked Head’s up that it’s a flinty area. We had inflatable mattresses so were comfortable but might have been less so if we were planning so sleep on thin camping mats. Thinner tent pegs struggled with the hard ground so make sure you have some sturdy ones, which were totally fine.
