What customers say
This small, well-maintained campsite offers beautiful countryside views and peaceful surroundings. Guests praised the clean and warm facilities, including spacious shower rooms and washing-up areas. The on-site farm shop and nearby pub are highly convenient. While most reviews are positive, some noted narrow or muddy pitches, and access via narrow lanes. The site is well-located for walks.

Won't be visiting again
Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked Washroom facilities, close proximity to The Fox Inn (delicious food), local shop on site, free use of Firepit and reasonably priced logs.
Disliked Was our favourite site stayed at this year but since visiting 8 months ago, all the best MH pitches are no longer available and now have unoccupied, shabby and industrial looking small mobile homes on them. Remaining MH pitches don't have the same spectacular view and so small and close together that peace and quiet is non existant.

From the manager: I am very sorry to hear your feedback from your stay us and I am sorry that you were unable to have the pitches that you desired. The 'shabby' mobile homes that you are referring to are occupied and have been with us for a month for local workers. They may not be pleasant to the eye but the people staying are lovely and wouldn't have caused any noise or disruption during your stay, as they aren't usually here at weekends. They are not permanently here and will be gone this month.
If you were to visit again the pitches at the top of the site should be available.
Regarding the noise, I can only imagine that this came from other visiting campers, which is unfortunately out of our control, but I apologise on their behalf.

Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked Lovely quiet little campsite. Facilities kept clean, (could do with an extra couple of single toilets for the busy times). Handy village shop round the corner and a great pub across the road, what more could you ask for!

From the manager: Thanks for taking the time to leave a great review. Just to say that there are two separate loos just beyond the main shower block - maybe you didn't spot them. Hope to see you again one day,
