Disliked We had a very upsetting experience at Newlands Holiday Park. During the night, two members of staff were intoxicated and walking outside our pitch and fell into our van and causing damage and significant distress to our family, including our young children. The way the incident was handled the following morning was equally disappointing, with us waiting over two hours for a manager to resolve the situation. Although our stay was refunded, the damage to our vehicle and the overall handling of the incident remain unresolved. Sadly, what should have been a relaxing family holiday turned into a very stressful experience.

Liked Good pitch size. Clean facilities. Nice outdoor and indoor pools. Good food and drink. Spar shop very reasonable for extras or treats.
Disliked Maybe a single price for the pool per stay or some visits included? But was easy to either turn up or book and the staff were really friendly.

Liked Really nice park with plenty of pitches and clean shower blocks. The TowBar served good food, and the on‑site shop was reasonably priced with a decent range. Easy to find, just off the main A35 and shortish walk to beach (back to site uphill so need good mobility or you can drive and park on beach front)
Overall a great setup.
Disliked Being close to a fast main road means there’s quite a lot of traffic noise throughout the day and night. The outdoor pool would benefit from some extra care and cleaning, as the tiles looked a bit grimy.

Liked Enjoyed the pool facilities they were modern and clean
The washing up area was spacious
Disliked The pool facilities cost extra to use and you have to choose between indoor or outdoor pool during peak times.
The pitch spaces aren't all flat so you may be pitched on a slant. The shower and toilet facilities aren't clean there's dead moths and spiders everywhere
Its a free for all throughout the site constant cars driving round, kids on scooters and bikes to avoid. Parties at night some until 1am! Its very loud near the shower block and you can hear the very busy main road.
