Liked Welcoming, facilities well looked after and clean, lovely, pleasant site. Liked water and drainage on each pitch.

Disliked Smell of muck spreading - but, it is a working farm so we were not that bothered and knew that when we booked.

Disliked Facilities could do with a top up clean at times
My pitch was against the road but a quiet road luckily - I will ask for the other side but the road side is the sunny side!

We request that guests do not disturb others with loud music and are sorry to hear that you experienced this. We have no control over mobile phone coverage EE seems to work here other providers can be patchy. The facilities are cleaned daily and supplies of toilet roll and soap replenished should there be any problems we are easily contacted and happy to help.

Liked Very warm and friendly welcome with the site having a pleasant lay out with everything near to hand. Lots of useful information on offer and a generous sized pitch to boot.

Liked Everything, we felt very welcome when greeted and taken to our plot which was fully serviced. The showers were sensational and all the facilities were very clean. Very peaceful.

Disliked Nothing at all, just wish we had book for more nights.

Liked Small site, mains water to each pitch (ours was a ehu pitch), remote site.
Laundry room with washer, dryer & ironing facilities.

Disliked No shop on site or within walking distance for basic supplies.
Cobwebs in ladies toilets.

From the manager: Thank you for taking the time to leave a review we are pleased to hear that you may visit us again. As a small site we are unable to provide an on site shop however as we do not advertise one this should not be unexpected. We are a short drive from both a farm shop and a village shop. It is possible to walk to the shop in the next village and indeed to the farm shop also we are happy to give directions. Cobwebs are routinely removed however spiders are very efficient and a new one can be constructed within 30-40 minutes. Spiders are natures insect repellent and as such provide a useful service their natural habitat is in abundance here so there presence is not optional.

Liked The location is quiet and the campsite is clean . The pitch was large with water and electric on the pitch. The toilets and showers were very clean.
It was so peaceful listening to the birds in the morning

Disliked The roads to the site are narrow and some are single track roads with passing places.

We recommend that guests access the site using directions from our website these routes are used regularly by large vehicles. Using sat nav can offer inappropriate options.

Liked Quiet peaceful , good size pitches, clean well kept site, clean facilities, softly mooing cows and the occasional tractor mixed with a pleasant farm whiff.

Liked Loved the fact there was only a small amount of pitches so very quiet and owner was very nice

Disliked Loved our pitch out the way great for our dogs and this isn’t a dislike but you do get a little road noise in the early mornings and I must mention it’s a working farm doesn’t bother me I have horses

Being a working Farm should come as no surprise to guests as we are advertised as such .We have one row of pitches which are next to an unclassified road. There is a large established hedge between road and site. Whilst there is traffic noise at peak times this row is very popular as it benefits from the afternoon sun.
