We welcome our canine guests and make no charge for their stay. As no dog walk is advertised it should not be unexpected. As a working livestock Farm we are unable to provide one. The large grass field adjacent to the site may well look a possibility but the grass grown there is for feed and as canine waste can be toxic and even fatal to bovines it is simply not an option. There are number of dog walking options close by many featured on our notice board and we are always happy to give advice.

Syntes om Everything. We got a warm and friendly welcome, our pitch was great - very spacious (they all were). The showers and toilets were spotlessly clean, and though we didn’t use them, there was a washing machine and tumble dryer (not often found on small sites). The site was very busy with a happy atmosphere and though there were families with small children, it was very quiet and peaceful. About a 15 minute walk down the hill is a lovely pub; the Diggers Rest, serving good food. Though there site is quite remote, there is a bus stop outside the site, and many tourist places are only a short drive away. Some reviews say this is a ‘bog standard’ site - we disagree and would not hesitate to recommend it to others.

Fra bestyreren: Thank you for your review and for visiting our site. The facilities are checked daily and we have seen no water pressure issues. The shower block is cleaned at approximately 11am it is never completely closed . We always make sure that both a shower and a toilet are available during this time it is simply a question of asking which one is free.

Syntes om I really enjoyed the friendly owners that were very helpful the sight wasn’t to big which I prefer and all facilities were there and clean and usable

Our location is as described, We are a basic site with basic facilities and our pricing structure reflects this. The facilities are cleaned to a high standard daily and are currently in the process of being decorated .We are always on hand to assist our guests with any issues or queries such as moving dates when a guest has booked the wrong ones .Even at busy times when this is not always an easy task as happened with your reservation. Our wifi is free of charge and we are constantly trying to improve the service via our provider. We were unaware you were experiencing fly issues they are almost inevitable at certain times of year, but, had we been asked we could have advised on some preventative measures.

Our pricing structure is in line with similar sites and despite ever increasing costs we have not raised our prices for a number of years .As previously mentioned we are in the process of decorating the facilities. We are currently having some wifi issues which our provider is trying to address .This service is however a basic one and free to guests.

Fra bestyreren: Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are indeed a basic campsite and our pricing structure and facilities offered reflect that. The shower block is cleaned well daily and any issued raised in between that time dealt with. We are currently in the process of decorating the facilities but that has to pause during busy periods. We have no plans for any major refurbishment during these difficult economic times when inevitably pitch fees would need to increase and the function offered would be the same although a little more aesthetically pleasing.
We operate no generators or any other type of machinery during the night had we been contacted during your stay we may have been able to offer some sort of explanation . We live adjacent to the site and have heard nothing so this is rather a puzzle.
