- Reception is unmanned from 17/09 to 15/05; the site operates a self check-in procedure.

Liked That it was a self contained unit, with kitchenette, bed, table and chairs and bijou bathroom. The bed was comfy. Liked the pile of land that came with the shepherds hut, fire pit and outdoor seating area
Disliked Had issue checking in as unmanned check in Sept - March. Hot water was Luke warm, shower had no pressure with Luke warm water. So, we used the main shower block
Could have done with a toaster, chopping board and scissors in the kitchenette (note no oven or hob, hob supplied on request though)

Liked Lovely peaceful woodland site with great facilities if needed. Firepits available on each pitch and pitches spacious and well spaced out. Fab walks through the forest with the dog. Lovely walk to the pub in Rattery that does great food. Didn't want to leave! Thank you 😊

Liked It was such a beautiful and quiet site, we can imagine in the warmer months, it being lots of fun with the big fire pits and communal kitchen/dining area, we loved everything about it and will definitely be back soon.

Great facilities.
Amazing walks around the woods and so peaceful and quiet.
We spent an amazing Christmas here and will definitely be coming back in 2026.

Liked Location was great and so quiet. The local pub, the Church House Inn's food is something special. The site is clean and well-maintained. The hut was well equipped with plates, cutlery, clothes, and washing up liquid.
