What customers say

This is a well-maintained and clean site with many facilities, including excellent swimming pools and entertainment. Visitors frequently praise the friendly and helpful staff, the beautiful sea views, and the spacious, well-kept pitches. While generally positive, some note issues with Wi-Fi availability, noise from other guests, and occasional overcrowding, particularly during peak times. The hilly location may present challenges for those with mobility issues.

Non-electric grass tent pitch

Liked Clean site. Staff were friendly and helpful. Kids loved the indoor and outdoor pool and used the arcade.
Youngest enjoyed the evening entertainment.
Dog friendly in most of the areas.

Arrived to find our payment via pitch up didn't transfer to the site, so they cancelled our pitch. Reservations team and reception were really helpful and put us up in a lodge with no additional costs. Lodge was clean and well presented. Great sea view and had a hot tub.

Disliked Not much during the day for kids as they didn't want to do the arcades all day and plus I don't have a bank loan for it or swimming.
Cash machine wasn't free, but we took a short walk to local spar where it was.

WiFi didn't work in the lodge.

From the manager: Hi Kim,
Thanks for your review - apologies again for the mix up in Reception on arrival, but I am pleased that we were able to complimentary upgrade you. Really pleased to hear that you found the staff friendly and helpful and enjoyed the outdoor pool and entertainment.
We try to have a range of activities on park during the day and into the evening, whilst also recognising that with such stunning surroundings and so many great attractions near by, guests may prefer to explore the local area. Sorry to hear that the wifi didn't work - I will contact our wifi providers to have a look into this.
We hope to welcome you back again soon,
Kind regards,
Nikki

Fully-serviced gravel and hardstanding touring pitch

Liked Staff brilliant, pitches ( fully serviced) a good size, views fantastic. toilets nice modern and clean.

Disliked Impossible to access beaches without driving (wife has mobility issues) and therefore even with a blue badge you have to pay Torbays exorbitant parking charges. It is suggested that beaches are a 20 min. walk away, even when I was running marathons I would struggle to achieve that! And coming back would tax even the fittest . Sad that you have to reverse onto pitch and therefore miss out on view . Bit upset that staff came round " chivvying" you to be off by 10 a.m. but allowed access to pitches before this time. As usual with commercial sites, going during summer holidays it is expensive .

Recommend to friends Visit again

From the manager: Hi Ann,
Thanks so much for your review - so pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay including the toilet facilities and the fantastic views. We do have to ask tourers to reverse on to some pitches due to fire safety regulations. Sorry that you felt there was a long walk to the beach, we do appreciate that it is hilly on the way back - it's how we get our fantastic views! For next time, there is a local bus which goes into Paignton from just around the corner of the park - the Reception team are brilliant with their knowledge of the bus timetables too.
We look forward to welcoming you back - don't leave it too long!

Fully-serviced gravel and hardstanding touring pitch

Liked Absolutely stunning views.
Lovely flat pitches in field 2.
Beautiful pool facilities.
Bathroom facilities were clean and very up to date.
Great food offerings with good deals (free kids meals with paying adult at any meal time)
Both fish and chip shop and the jetty offer gluten free food which is fab when 2 of us are coeliac!
Warden was extremely helpful and welcoming.

Disliked Upon arrival checking in is confusing, unsure where to park to go into reception. Cars were parked in caravan check in bay as not clearly marked.
Would be much easier to check in if the warden met you when you drive in!

Recommend to friends Visit again

From the manager: Hi Katie,
Thanks so much for your lovely review.
So delighted to hear that you enjoyed the views, flat pitches and pool facilities. I completely agree that our allergy friendly options are brilliant - I love the chicken tenders from the Jetty!
Sorry that you found it confusing when checking in - we're working on making the touring bays in the car park much clearer, so hopefully when we see you again, it'll be much easier.
Pleased that the warden was able to help you and was welcoming.
We look forward to welcoming you back soon!

From the manager: Thanks so much for your lovely review - really delighted to hear you enjoyed your stay, had some good food and found the team to be first call, I'll be sure to pass this on to the team as they love to hear customer comments!
Sorry that you were disturbed by kids riding electric scooters on park, we do ask as part of our site rules that these are not used on park and our team will always speak to any guests if we spot them. However, it's worth noting for your next stay, that if you experience any disturbance, please let us know - you can always call our Evening Customer Service team out of hours, and they will discreetly deal with any issues so that everyone can continue to enjoy their holiday.
We look forward to welcoming you back really soon - don't leave it too long please!

Fully-serviced grass and gravel touring pitch (premium)

Liked The restaurant, lovely food
The location overlooking Torquay

Disliked Says it’s pet friendly, but not allowed in club house, or bingo etc
Pool and most facilities shut at 5.00

Recommend to friends Visit again

From the manager: Thank you for your review!
We're thrilled to hear you enjoyed the restaurant and the beautiful view of Torquay.
We do have a dog friendly section of our Jetty Restaurant and the whole of the terrace, which is open daily until 9pm during the main season. At weekends and every day through the main summer holidays, our Saltwater Bar is open and dog friendly. The main Starlight entertainment venue can get quite busy, with lots of lights and noise, which can sometimes be overwhelming for pets. For their comfort and safety, we have to restrict them from those areas. Our pool hours have been extended to 6pm for the summer season.
We do hope to welcome you back to Beverley Holidays in the future,
Nikki

Local attractions

Beverley Park is within easy driving distance of Devon days out and activities for all weathers, whether you want to browse around award-winning attractions, dive into beach days and watersports or delve into the options of Dartmoor National Park. Kids can plead for days at Paignton Zoo Environmental Park just over a mile from Beverley Park, Living Coasts within four or Pennywell Farm at Buckfastleigh nine miles away. If history's more their thing (ha), they can try trips to the likes of Babbacombe Model Village and the Victorian street and model railway of Bygones history museum, both at Torquay. The park is close to the tiptop Devon towns of Torquay, Brixham, Torbay and Totnes; Dartmouth (ships! castle!) is about eight miles away for a day out then a Dartmouth Steam Railway trip puffing gently back to Paignton. Go underground for some time among the prehistoric and cavernous caves of Torquay's award-winning Kents Cavern, first discovered in the 16th century and the inspiration for local resident Agatha Christie's tome The Man in the Brown Suit back in 1924.
