General

  • Family-run park with spectacular sea views
  • Heated indoor and outdoor pools, gym, bar and restaurant
  • Sauna, steam room, crazy golf, nature trails, adventure playgrounds...

Ever wanted to pitch up near Paignton – but ensure perfect sea views and proximity to a long long sandy beach just minutes away by your very own feets? Behold Beverley Park, a site of spectacular scenery less than a mile from the sands and rockpools of beaut Broadsands beach – and with heaps of on-site holiday stuff included to boot.

Parkwise, you might want to start off in the sauna, steam room and hot tub region (or possibly one of the heated outdoor pools), then read the papers at the poolside café, then have steak or fish and chips (or both) along with a cocktail or a glass of wine (or both) among the views of the Upperdeck bar, restaurant and terrace…

But... everyone is different. So if your tastes lean towards the energetic/ambitious instead, you'll probably prefer the tennis courts, table tennis and crazy golf to get crazily competitive at, or the gym to stay in shape, or a race around site with the kids on the letterboxing and nature trails...

Families bedding down at Beverley are also catered for: kids have outdoor adventure playgrounds to get creative at, along with kids' clubs, paddling pools, soft play, family amusements and an indoor children's room, while the daytime activity programme gets the family involved in a nicely tempting array of activities from water zorbing to beach rambles.

More? Yet more Beverley Park facilities and amenities include the Gallery café and takeaway, Starlight bar, shop, launderette, free hot showers and family bathrooms.

Please note

The outdoor swimming pool is open between 29/04 et 30/09 (subject to weather conditions).

Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Commercial vehicles (vehicles used for work related purposes, carrying goods or fare-paying passengers) and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site.

Facilities/activities including tennis, crazy golf, table tennis and gym are subject to extra charges payable on arrival.

The indoor swimming pool is open between 01/01 and 31/12.

Single-sex bookings of 3 or more people (excluding couples) are not permitted via Pitchup.com.

It was our first time at Beverley Park - we loved everything about it. All the staff were amazing; friendly, helpful, enthusiastic, and kind - from start to finish. The evening entertainment "all singing all dancing" team in the Starlight were absolutely brilliant - 10/10! All the facilities were clean and well maintained. And all the fellow guests in Field 2 were considerate of those around them - quiet, yet friendly in passing. And the views - wow! Carlsberg doesn't make campsites... but if they did, it would be Beverley Park!

    Disliked:

Nothing - not one fault or gripe!

The site was very well kept overall, the entertainment and facilities were great for younger people. The views were spectacular and not far from Torquay or Paington which were the main places of interest to us.

    Disliked:

Unfortunately, due to weather conditions and the fact that there was building construction going on right next to our shower block we were walking in continual mud most of which was walked into our caravan. Our shoes were also caked in mud on various occasions, I'm sure other people just took in their strides but as we are old age pensioners I did think it was a little over the top and we left a day early because the weather forecast was not good and I particularly was sick of walking on mud I felt this did spoil the site and the holiday a little for us and although we enjoyed ourselves I wouldn't be too keen to go to the same site again.

Pitches were very muddy and on a slop , we stayed on a pitch which backed on to a main road ,passing traffic all night . Building work was being carried out next to toilet
block with mud being carried onto roadways this mud carried into the showers and into Motorhome.

Local attractions

Beverley Park is within easy driving distance of several Devon days out and activities for all weathers, whether you want to take it easy browsing around award-winning attractions, dive into beach days and watersports, delve into the options of Dartmoor National Park or let the kids loose on the many family days out around the region.

Kids into creatures can plead for days at Paignton Zoo Environmental Park just over a mile from Beverley Park, Living Coasts within four or Pennywell Farm at Buckfastleigh nine miles away.

If history is more their thing (ha), they can try trips to the likes of Babbacombe Model Village and the Victorian street and model railway of Bygones history museum, both at Torquay.

The park is close to the tiptop Devon towns of Torquay, Brixham, Torbay and Totnes; Dartmouth (ships! castle!) is about eight miles away for a day out then a Dartmouth Steam Railway trip puffing gently back to Paignton.

Go underground for some time among the prehistoric and cavernous caves of Torquay's award-winning Kents Cavern, first discovered in the 16th century and the inspiration for local resident Agatha Christie's tome The Man in the Brown Suit back in 1924.

And if you really want to make a splash with the kids, arrange for a day out at Splashdown Quaywest Waterpark, near your site home back in Paignton.
