Sunnymead Farm

From £10 (for 1 night, 2 adults)   Why not enter some details and get an accurate price?

Sunnymead Farm is a small friendly family-run site with only large level pitches offering fabulous countryside and sea views; we welcome everyone and you will find our pricing is simple and very reasonable for the area.

The pitches are laid out around the edge of two fields giving each pitch plenty of space and leaving the centre of each field free for play!

We are ideally situated between Woolacombe and Ilfracombe so you can be on the beach or fishing off the harbour in around ten minutes.

Exmoor is within easy reach and Combe Martin, the gateway to Exmoor, is within 15-20 minutes.

We have a children's play area on site, offer free hot showers, a family shower room, recycling facilities and a takeaway in high season (end of July to end of August).

We have direct access to a bridle path which links to miles of public footpaths (this can be muddy, so please bring appropriate footwear).

We are on a public bus route which will stop on demand at our entrance.

In these circumstances the holiday ceases and we shall not be liable for any extra costs incurred by you.

All bookings are accepted on the basis that you, the customer, agree to these terms and conditions. We also reserve the right to refuse any booking.

This contract is with Sarah and Peter Lock, Sunnymead Farm Camping and Touring Site. A contract exists as soon as the deposit is paid.

A deposit must be paid at the time of booking on This payment, which is treated as part payment of your holiday, is neither transferable nor refundable. Payment of your balance is due 28 days before your arrival date, or within 48 hours of booking if your arrival date is within 28 days.

Changes can be made to bookings up to 14 days before your due arrival date. A £10 administration fee will be payable for each change. It is regretted that no refunds can be given if guests depart prior to the end of the booked holiday; we hope you will have good weather during your stay but we cannot guarantee it.

Your pitch will be available for you to check in from 12 noon. Please pull into the camping field and walk down to reception before pitching. You are welcome to arrive earlier but we cannot guarantee that your pitch will be available before 12 noon. If you are likely to arrive after 8pm please give us a call.

Please vacate your pitch by 1030am. If you wish to depart later in the day (small charge payable) please enquire at reception the day before; we cannot guarantee to be able to accommodate your request but will do our best.

We would be delighted if you would like to extend your stay with us: please enquire at reception re availability as soon as possible and at least 24 hours before your due departure day. We will do the best we can to accommodate you but please be aware the pitch may already be booked out to another camper.

We are a small quiet family site and appreciate this is what some groups are looking for; we reserve the right to request a good behaviour deposit.

During high season our reception is open from 9am to 830pm. During low and mid season these hours will be reduced, but we are always contactable and available to help you by telephone on the number advertised on the reception notice board.

We would respectfully request that you show consideration for your fellow campers whilst staying with us. As Sunnymead Farm is a family campsite we would also ask all campers to keep noise levels to a minimum after 10pm.

The play area is for the use of children up to the age of 12 only. Please supervise your children at all times whilst they use the equipment and please note that they do so at your own risk. The proprietors of Sunnymead Farm can in no way be held responsible for any accidents. Please note: for the safety of the farm animals and wildlife the use of water bombs and BB guns are prohibited on site.

All waste must be placed in the correct containers within the recycling area. For large items, directions to the Ilfracombe recycling centre can be obtained from reception; under no circumstances should they be left on site.

Please drive extremely slowly as there will be free-range children and animals that will not see you.

Dogs are most welcome but please keep them on their leads whilst on site, use the walking area provided and clean up after them: thank you.

Toilet and showers are free of charge; please consider your fellow campers and leave them as you would wish to find them, and notify reception immediately of any problems you find.

Barbecues: you are welcome to use barbecues but please do not place them directly on the grass.

If you wish to have a particular pitch every endeavour will be made to allocate you the pitch of their choice; however this is not always possible and it must be clearly understood that acceptance of a booking is not conditional on the allocation of a particular pitch.

We hope you will enjoy your stay at Sunnymead Farm and have a wonderful time exploring beautiful north Devon; however, should you encounter any problems during your stay with us please do let us know whilst you are here so we are able to rectify it, if at all possible for you. We have a visitors' book in reception and welcome all comments so we can continually work to make all our guests' holidays enjoyable ones at Sunnymead Farm.
