Liked Me and my partner have come to this site 2 years in a row now. We love how we requested a specific pitch and the staff accommodated this. The showers are cleaned regularly, there is washing machines and tumble driers for a small fee and bins stationed throughout the site. The whole place is just beautiful; not an ounce of litter, the grass is kept and the trees are maintained which is lovely as the site is surrounded by them! The staff are wonderful and really helpful. We cannot forget to mention Kit Kat, whom is a long term resident at the site - she is purrrrrfect.
Disliked The restaurant could serve food slightly later than 7pm. Although, this is a personal preference as people who eat later.

A wonderful first camping experience we’ll definitely be back!
Electric optional grass touring caravan, tent or trailer tent pitch (large)
Liked We had such a lovely stay at Hidden Valley Park in Ilfracombe and, as first-time campers, we really couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
The site is in a fantastic location, with Ilfracombe and the surrounding North Devon attractions all within easy reach, while still feeling peaceful and tucked away. It was also brilliant having somewhere that was so welcoming to our four dogs.
The facilities were honestly exceptional. I have never stayed at a campsite with facilities that were so incredibly clean. Everything was clearly very well cared for, which made such a difference, particularly as we were completely new to camping.
We did have a bit of a mix-up with our reservation, we booked through Pitch Up, but Carol, the owner, was absolutely amazing. She was incredibly accommodating, kind and understanding, and went out of her way to help us. As first-time campers, having someone so friendly and helpful made us feel really looked after and took away any stress from the initial mix-up.
Sadly, we had to cut our stay short because of a family emergency, which was such a shame as we were really enjoying ourselves. Even though we were only there for a short time, we came away feeling that we had found somewhere special.
Thank you so much to Carol for making our first camping experience such a positive one. We will definitely be back hopefully next time for a much longer stay! ❤️

Electric optional gravel touring pitch (large)
Liked A peaceful site with great amenities and space. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Perfect for couples, families and those with pets who don't mind getting back in the car to get to any of the wonderful local beaches.
Disliked We could hear the road traffic from our pitch, although this was only slight and we were in the closest row of pitches to the road.
