What customers say
This is a very clean and well-maintained campsite with spacious pitches and excellent facilities. Staff are consistently praised for being friendly, helpful and welcoming. Its superb location is a short walk to Dawlish Warren beach, with good public transport links nearby. A food van on-site is a popular addition. Some minor points include a charge for showers and occasionally patchy WiFi.

Absolutely fabulous.
Fox electric grass campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch (large)
Liked Toilet and shower block always immaculate. Never had to wait for a vacant shower and 20p is great value for the shower and 5 minutes ample time Spacious and clean washing up room. Level field so great for small tent. Lots of kids all lively and well-behaved. Myriad dog owners and all under control and well-behaved. The bus to Torquay via Dawlish and Teignmouth stopped right outside the entrance and only 10 mins walk to Exeter /Newton Abbot bus. Lidl near the bus stop in Teignmouth and Sainsbury's only a couple of minutes drive from Leadstone and petrol a very good price. Beach a leisurely 10 mins walk away and lovely sea and with plenty of dog-free areas and lots of amusements. Brilliant location for cyclists and walkers.
Disliked Far too hot to be on the campsite during the afternoons. With climate change there should be far more shade available; more trees or hedges essential.
