Cherry Tree Farm Campsite is located in beautiful rural Croyde in North Devon. We are a five-minute walk to Croyde beach (sandy and lifeguarded) and a 5-10-minute walk into the village where there are pubs and restaurants to visit. Cherry Tree is positioned at the start of Baggy Point headland, where you can get straight onto footpaths around the coastal area without any need for walking on the roads first or having to drive anywhere. The campsite has showers and toilets (some with plugs for shavers/hairdryers etc.), ice-pack hire and exchange facility, phone charging facilities (for a small donation into the charity box) and surf board hire. We have a variety of fields and keep several just for families, one for couples and some fields for groups of adults. We are a quiet campsite with no noise after 11pm and we ask for no excessive noise at any time as to not disturb other campers here. We also have recycling facilities here.

Many sites set a maximum occupancy of 6/8 people per pitch, so try breaking your booking down into smaller groups to generate more results. For example, if you’re a group of 10, enter 5 people in your initial search and then book 2 pitches.
However, where the pitch or accommodation occupancy allows it, you can make a booking for up to 30 adults and 30 children in one booking.
To book multiple pitches or accommodation, use the 'Special requests' box on the booking page to ask to be sited together. Complete the booking form for the first booking (you can add a password and save your card so that we remember your details). Then click "Make another booking like this" at the top of the confirmation page to make the next booking.
Large groups: check the listing page for any group restrictions set out in the terms and section titled ‘Please note’.
Large tents/caravans: check the restrictions on unit dimensions to ensure your unit is suitable for the space you will be provided with.

From Croyde village, drive past Billy Budd's pub and take the first left up Jones's Hill. Stay on this road (past the turnoff to Croyde beach) and continue for about 500m until the road turns sharply to the right. We are straight ahead of you here.
Our bottom entrance (pedestrians only) comes out on Moor Lane, approximately 400m along from the entrance to Croyde beach. For those of you arriving on public transport the best option would be to get off the bus (number 308 from Barnstaple) at Ruda Holiday Park, walk back up Moor Lane away from the beach for about 400m and enter through our bottom gates (signposted Cherry Tree farm). From there, just head up the fields to reception where we will book you in and show you where to pitch.
As we are in such close proximity to the beach (you can check the surf from the campsite), we are an ideal location for those of you who want to go surfing or bodyboarding. There are plenty of activities in the area such as coasteering, kayaking, surfing, cycle hire, walking, paragliding, horse-riding, climbing and fishing. The coastline of North Devon offers a spectacular back drop for whatever you are doing, whether it's coasteering around Baggy Point or simply enjoying an ice-cream and the view. There are four pubs in nearby Croyde (maximum 10-minute walk away) and a bistro restaurant, as well as a large variety of bars, restaurants and even a nightclub (in Woolacombe, 15 minutes by car) for those people wanting to look around the area even more. There is plenty of wildlife in the area to spot, so be sure to look out for our badgers, foxes, pheasants, buzzards, stoats, and other wildlife creatures!
