Excellent site, great facilities and lovely location.
Electric hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Showers were so lovely and hot. The facilities were immaculate. I couldn’t fault it, so much so I’m going back there in a couple of days.
The woodland walks are beautiful, what a fab location.

Electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Spacious tent pitch, scenic location
Disliked We weren’t told that the whole place was card payment only, meaning we couldn’t use our savings that we had been putting away especially for this holiday, just one weekend that we didn’t have to worry about our autistic children or work stress. We had to eat and drink off park, increasing costs for taxi’s too and from our chosen venue for entertainment.
The staff were very unprofessional, at one point bundling each other in the shop in front of customers, the bar staff were miserable and had no enthusiasm whatsoever. I would advise bar staff to offer a clean glass for each drink rather than reusing the stained ones that were served to us
Our pitch electric point was broken when we arrived mid morning, I reported it to reception and they sent a park ranger round to have a look which ended in me finding the issue and telling him what was wrong and what was needed, he called the trained electrician who was an absolutely amazing and real cheerful chap and even told us a bit about himself and got to know us. His name was Greg and if any of the staff at stowford get to read this, he is an absolute asset to your company

Disliked The only thing was the shower water temperature near the tent pitch. It was quite cool.

Camping pod
Liked Really gorgeous campsite, much better than I expected. The photo's dont do it justice. So much to on site, and close to the site. We went with two small children, and would highly recommend for families.
Shower and toilets also were immaculately clean.
Disliked This is very picky, but the food choices on
the site aren't great, but then if you enjoy more fast food styles it will be great for you.

Camping pod
Liked Friendly helpful staff, my daughter and I stayed in a pod, very good value for money, comfortable beds and a great location to visit local sites with plenty to keep a 9 year old entertained.
Disliked Lack of WIFI, that's ok to keep the kids of screens but not good for communication as the mobile signal is nonexistent.
