General
- Peaceful dog-friendly site seven miles from Dartmoor National Park
- A 15-minute drive from Roadford Lake and half an hour from the coast
- Tuck shop on site, plus regular drive-in cinema nights
From chasing down waterfalls and climbing mountain peaks to rummaging through rockpools on the shore, find a nice helping of nature-inspired adventures from Beverly Hills Camping. Seven miles from Dartmoor National Park and half an hour from the beaches at Bude, this site has a little bit of both worlds, all from a peaceful dog-friendly site stretching over 15 acres and surrounded by splendid countryside views.
Work up an appetite… 15 minutes’ drive away, paddle laps around Roadford Lake on a paddleboard, kayak or canoe. And when you feel like sticking to the land, there Pegasus Way trail runs past the site and leads the way into the local forest. For further exhilaration, join the Sunday morning goings-on organised by a qualified England Athletics coach.
Afterwards, refill with a snack from the tuck shop on site. You may want to pick up something special if you're here on a night when the drive-in cinema's running, as there’s a screen set up alongside the site that shows films on selected evenings (check the weather and screening times in advance; booking recommended). Aside from that, things are kept nicely straightforward on site with toilets and water just so that pets can drink or wash off.
When you fancy your food prepared somewhere nice, there are a few pubs or restaurants within 10 minutes’ drive of the site, including a dog-friendly pub in Bratton, plus a food shop 10 minutes’ drive away too.

Sorry you didn't enjoy yourself we are gutted this is our first bad review out of 30 this year. We would have refunded you if you weren't happy if you would have said. I could offer you the bigger pod for free next time but as you wouldn't stay again or recommend it the last thing you would want to do is come back.
