What customers say
This tranquil farm site offers stunning countryside views and a peaceful escape. Guests praise the clean, well-maintained facilities, including hot showers and flushing toilets, along with helpful owners. Some note pitches can be sloping or close together, and access can be steep for larger vehicles. While basic, the site is considered good value by some, though others found it expensive for the standard.

Electric grass and gravel pitch
Liked There was no allocation of pitch, so we were able to pick where to stay. There was a lovley resident dog on the farm who popped over and said hello, which was lovely. And the hosts were lovely, we only meet one, but he was very welcoming, helped with any question and queries. And we liked how quiet it was, calm, and peaceful. Great shed area for charging phones and they had fridges which were perfect if you have food to cook like us. And the whole site was very clean. Thank you for a great stay, we will definitely be back!

Electric grass and gravel pitch
Liked Beautiful peaceful, people that own it are lovely and helpful, we only stayed one night to cut the journey up as traveling home but wish we had stayed longer, it has everything you need and a short ride into Barnstaple, cycle path as well. Would definitely recommend.
Disliked We have a very large motorhome and the road leading to it is very steep, narrow and the turning off the road was a struggle the bottom of the motorhome scraped the road but again it’s very large 71/2 metres in length anything else wouldn’t have a problem.

From the manager: You only put your name down, but none of the names
(Adults or Children) of the other campers on BOTH the 2 bookings you made on Pitchup.com. I asked you, in a separate email, (before you arrived), to provide the names of all the campers across the 2 bookings - you choose not to respond.
When you arrived I simply asked you to pay the difference for the campers you hadn't, named, booked or paid for on your Pitchup.com booking form.
Hardly worth a poor review, i wouldn't have thought?
Peaceful site with lovely views from…
Electric grass and gravel pitch
Liked Peaceful site with lovely views from where we parked! Spent the evenings in front of a fire and looking at the stars. The owners dogs were very friendly and came over to us a lot to say hello, very well behaved dogs. Toilets and showers were fine. Quite a walk to get to them from where we were but the toilets are in the perfect place as they’re next to the tent field. We were in the van part which was further away but most vans have their own facilities anyways… we don’t but it wasn’t an issue. Owner would always say hello when he seen us and when we arrived he let us choose where we wanted to pitch. Overall a great stay!
