Families have no need to fear the heavens opening either, as nippers can be entertained at both outdoor and indoor play areas.

When evening rolls around, attention turns to the bar-restaurant, for eats and drinks from the pleasingly varied menu and high-season social events including quizzes, bingo and kids' discos.

Please note

So much potential yet failing in so many areas16/09/2019

    The area and the views!
Walking distance to Lands end and could see the fireworks from our tent!
This place has so much potential!
The bar and Bistro was fantastic from the staff to the entertainment and the food was all amazing and good prices!
The small park on site was lovely with loads of different equipment to suit all ages!

    Disliked:

Where to start on arrival given keys for the toilets and shower blocks that I had to pay £5 for, 1 key so if my older son need a toilet or a shower the rest of the group 8 of us girls and women would have to wait. we had a baby and a toddler so asked for keys to the family shower room to be told they don't work because the keys are lost! Very poor excuse in peek season you would get that fixed!

The swimming pool only opened when the weather was nice because it was FREEZING! It said on a sign the pool was closed on Sundays for cleaning we had grandparents on the pitch next to the pool and no one went in or out the whole day! it was not cleaned! There was nowhere to get changed.

The website states there is a cinema room and a skittle alley on request when the weather was bad we asked where it was and were told they were closed down last year!

The soft play area, although small was good enough with the amount of things in there to keep the kids happy on the a quieter or rainy day, However the spider webs were every where even at eye level. and the dirt was well the toddlers knees were black after 5 minutes of crawling around. This was closed most of the time for no reason.

The launderette was very expensive and the machines didnt drain or spin it was flooded when i tried to get the washing out! The tumble driers just didnt dry after £6 i gave up!

There are no shops nearby you had to drive back into Sennon where there was a small post office with bare shelves and not and few expensive necessities. A good half hours drive into Penzance for a decent food shop.

The showers were the worst, we stayed on this site for 14 nights not once were they cleaned or washed the toilets were discusting we would watch the lady come in fill up the loo roll and walk straight back out!

A sign in the toilets saying they are not on mains sewage so please do not flush any sanitary products down the toilets, use the bins provided NO BINS in any toilets!

On departure yes it was a Sunday but this is a holiday Camp where people are arriving and departing on a daily basis, IT WAS CLOSED. When i rang the number to hand my shower key back in the lady who lived across the car park said just post them and if you want your money back leave your name and address!
Granted i did recieve my money in the post a few days later but it was the customer service and the lack of care that i found absolutely discusting!

The staff didnt seem to care much about complaints and i was told there are no refunds under any circumatnces even after a family had to leave as her child was airlifted to hospital!

From the manager...

Thank you for your review.
We do charge a £5.00 refundable deposit for each key this is returned on return of the key.We are unaware of a problem with bathroom keys and will look into it sorry for any inconvenience caused.
The swimming pool is a outdoor pool and unheated this is used buy guest on the Park and most people change in their accomodation. The pool is closed on Sundays for cleaning and any repairs required.
We do not advertise a skittle alley or cinema room on Pitch-up.
The Soft Play is checked and cleaned each day of use.
Launderette we did look into problems with the machines and it was found that the quests were unfamiliar with the machines and over filled the to the extent that the would not drain.
Toilets and showers these are checked and cleaned 3 times a day through the main season.
Thank you again for your review,

The location of this site is great, with distant views of the sea, and countryside all around. The sunsets were amazing. In summer the open top buses stop right outside, taking you on great scenic routes to St Ives or Penzance. You can easily walk to Land's End and along the costal path, or down to the amazing beach at Sennen Cove. And the local fish and chips (excellent) is only a step a way. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and on our arrival sorted us out straightaway with an extension cable for our electric hook up, as ours wasn't long enough. The showers and toilet facilities were good, regularly cleaned, and I especially liked that the shower cubicles provide plenty of space, with a chair and handy shelf. The bar/bistro on site is great, with friendly staff and offering breakfasts and a good evening menu. We would definitely return to this campsite, and had a fantastic holiday. I was with my much older son, but I imagine the site is great for younger children, with a really good play area and great swimming pool.

    Disliked:

The only couple of drawbacks during our stay was a couple of nights were firstly that very loud music was allowed to continue blaring out beyond midnight, on one occasion going on way past 2am! It was the August bank holiday weekend, though, so I accept this may not be typical.
Secondly, a minor point, but wi-fi was only available if you were sitting right outside the reception area, and there was no public access inside the reception area to use wi-fi, or in the bar/bistro.

From the manager...

Thank you for taking the time to review Seaview Holiday Park. Sorry about the lack of Wifi we will look at this for next season and see what can be done to upgrade the system. We do ask customers to be considerate to fellow guests noise does travel around the camping area and we do do ask for a quiet time after 11.00 pm.

    Disliked:

False advertising we booked this place as it stated lots to do on site , pools not manned by a lifeguard or member of staff and open for anyone to walk in would hate for a child to fall in if wondered around on own , no tennis court in sight , indoor play was open once in whole stay 5pm -8pm not great on a raining day as had to find other options , showering and toilet facilities were filthy , no hot water in sinks even though sign states warning hot water , soap dispenser watered down no paper hand towels in machine for whole stay showers too small as a big box was screwed to door so no room to dress once out shower
Went to disco night and there was no disco just people eating meals and drinking no where for kids to dance etc was just like been in a pub with background music
Washing up facilities no hot water either
Tent pitches far to small and I only had a small family tent no where to park cars without parking in other empty pitch places (good job wasn’t busy )

Thank you for your review.
The facilities on offer at Seaview
Tennis court located behind the swimming pool accessed through the Wild Camping Field.
Outdoor Swimming Pool.
Mini Golf with dinosaurs
Outdoor play area/ adventure play ground.
Indoor soft play area.
The swimming Pool is unmanned customers are asked to sign in to reception before using the pool area.
The Showers/toilets are checked and cleaned 3 times a day through the main season.
We do have 3 toilet/shower blocks on site we would normally offer for you to use a alternative shower/shower block if we were aware of any problems.
The pitch sizes are on Pitch-up our only suggestion would be to book a larger pitch.
We do reserve some pitches for parking if we are aware there maybe a problem.

This holiday park seriously needs to update its website. The only reason we chose this place was for the family fun side of it.
The pool was open once during our stay. There is no lifeguard.
    The entertainment was nonexistent.
No hot water in the sinks in the toilets (despite there being a warning of hot water).
    Showers went hot, cold, hot,cold.
soap dispensers were just watered down remnants of soap.
No paper towels in the dispensers, so no way to dry hands.
you have to have to purchase a key to use the toilets, which is £5 refundable deposit. Not very good to have to use a key when you have young children needing the toilet in the middle of the night.
Soft play area was open in the evenings only, then sometimes it didnt open. You actually needed more adults accompanying children in soft play area than in the pool.
The pitches sizes are too small for family size tents.
On our second morning there we were confronted by an obnoxious woman accusing us of making noise until 2am, when I tried to say it was not us she just raised her voice and refused to listen and threatened to kick us off. I wouldn't have minded being told off if it was us! I was going to talk to her later and show her my sleep tracker on my watch showing her I was asleep at 11.30, but after reading all the bad reviews on trip advisor I did not go. I wish I had read these reviews before booking!

From the manager...

Thank you for your.
We update our web site on a regular basis. The swimming pool is open through the main season 6 days a week. It is a unmanned pool customers are asked to sign in reception before entering the pool area. The toilet/showers are checked and cleaned 3 times a day through the main season. We had no reports of no hot water in the shower/toilets and any problems are attended to by our maintenance team. The size of the pitch is displayed on the Pitch-up website.Soft-play was open 6 nghts a week in the main season Monday to Saturday. Generally we would politely requests to not make any noise after 11.30 pm and it is left for us to politely ask customers to adhere to this as mutual respect for other customers.

Flat pitch and separated by hedges. Very Good food at the Bistro . Walking distance to Lands end and Senen Cove . Short drive to Porth curno and Mimack theatre both a must visit. Beautiful part of Cornwall. Good site generally . Does have outdoor pool but we never used it as tended to go out for the days .

Showers need more hooks to hand clothes. And a shelf would be useful for toiletries. There is a shop there ..but unfortunatley it was never open. Light on the Terrace pitch was not working.

Local attractions

Smashing Sennen Cove is one of the most famed beaches in Cornwall, for its spectacular setting as well as its surfing. Shops, pubs and artsy galleries are around the harbour; if you're feeling energetic, climb the Pedn-men-du promontory from here or hike the 11.7 mile section of the South West Coast Path from Sennen Cove to Lamorna.

The Land's End Visitor Centre is also within a mile of Seaview (a pic taken at the famed Land's End signpost is obligatory) and if you're up for teeing off in spectacular surrounds, Cape Cornwall Golf Club is within five miles. Of a summer evening, pootle along to a show at the clifftop Minack Theatre, a three-mile drive away, or have a tour of it all at any time of year.

A couple of mighty famed must-sees are within driving distance: the tiny tidal island of St Michael's Mount 12 miles away, which you can walk to at low tide or take the boat when the waves are in, and the pretty arty town of St Ives 15 miles from base, home to Tate St Ives.

Kids will be in heaven at Paradise Park (20 miles), The Flambards Experience (25 miles), Poldark Mine (25 miles) and the National Seal Sanctuary (30 miles); further afield but well worth the trip is the lush Eden Project, 55 miles away.
