  • Family-friendly site by the sandy beach at Holywell Bay
  • A 10-minute drive from the beaches at Perranporth and Fistral
  • Spa, fishing lakes, heated pool and a range of bars and restaurants
Book a coastal Cornish stay at Trevornick Holiday Park, set up to cater for the whole family: this well-equipped site will accommodate you doing as much (or as little) as you please on holiday. Alongside luxury necessities including toilet/shower blocks, family bathrooms, a launderette and a grocery shop, Trevornick has a wide range of extras for all ages such as an outdoor heated pool, a Jacuzzi, a toddlers' pool and a tranquillity spa. Tee off on the 18-hole pitch and putt and par-three golf courses, soak up views of the beach made famous by BBC’s Poldark, and try your hand at the miniature golf course… or sit back at one of Trevornick’s fishing ponds: there are two to try your luck at. Dogs are catered for at Trevornick too: all accommodation types have dog-friendly options, and dedicated on-site facilities include a dog-walking field and a dog wash shower station. It's always worth taking note of what facilities are open during the different seasons here, as things vary according to the time of year. If you go during peak time, book yourself into the Tranquility Spa for a treatment (or two)… the kids won’t even notice you’re gone while they're at the forest trail with its underground tunnel and zipwire.

Electric grass pitch

Liked Was a really good park - pool was warm in late August - amenities very clean (shower/toilet) etc staff very friendly - pitches were maintained and kept very tidy - bins were well concealed -

Disliked The bars felt small for the park and got over crowded quickly - felt we were put on a pitch quite far away from everything toilets included - the shop was quite pricey! - everything was quite far away such as super markets or the beach I wouldn’t say it’s in walking distance if you have a small child - ‘free WiFi’ didn’t exist at all

Liked Location near Holywell Bay
Heated outdoor pool
Arcade for children
Pond view

Disliked Lack of ameneties for size of site, had to queue on a few occasions for the toilets and showers.
Internet - could not keep in touch with anyone unless I left the site. Appalling signal unless you went to a bar. Reception would just say it must need resetting by maintenance - it must have been their week off.
The walk to the beach was quite hard for people with mobility issues
The amount of swearing that was happening in children’s earshot.
The cost of the fish and chips and the chips were not nice

Liked Facilities were excellent:
Lovely pool
Clean showers/toilets
Well stocked shop

Disliked Not really many rules, it’s nice to be relaxed but the tent next to us pitched so close there was only about a metre between us with was a bit invasive. We read before we came there were no electric Scooters/ bikes allowed onsite but there were lots so our children were disappointed.

Electric grass pitch

Liked The site has so much to do for everyone as has a lovely walk to the beach over the golf course and through the dunes. The farm shop is excellent - the best I’ve been in and the different food options are great with plenty of choice for everyone. For golfers and fishermen it’s perfect. And there are plenty of dog walking places with even a dog agility course which I’ve never come across before. For bikers there are bike trails and plenty of other areas for exploring. The washroom facilities are great and there is a dog bath area with warm water which is great.
One on the dog walking fields is a wild meadow with paths mown through it and would be lovely when the flowers are blooming. They finished early this due to the hot weather I imagine.

Disliked I would comment that the Sun Field where I was right in the corner, is a longish way from toilets etc but I managed.
Also my motorhome has a drop tap for grey waste and a drive over drain would be a huge plus for motorhome owners
Not dislikes, just comments

Local attractions

Backdrops don’t come much better than Trevornick… overlooking Gull Rocks and with National Trust-protected Holywell Bay beach steps away making up a mile-long stretch of sand, dunes, rockpools and waves. A surf school is a couple of minutes' drive from the park (or about 20 minutes' hike via the South West Coast Path). And then… onto Fistral beach (10 minutes), the famed setting of the Boardmasters festival and a fine spot to stop off at even if you're not into the surf. Close to Fistral and about a 15-minute drive from Trevornick await Newquay Aquarium and Newquay Zoo, as well as the town's restaurants and shops… plus surf shops if you seek to buy or hire more kit. The Eden Project is about a 40-minute drive from Trevornick, just on the opposite side of the peninsula via the A30; make a day of it and drive an extra 15 minutes down the road to Carlyon Bay while you’re there so you can say you’ve seen the ocean from both sides. Head south from Trevornick for an hour or so to arrive at Land’s End for photos, or drive half an hour for photoshoots at Carnewas and Bedruthan Steps. Also make some time for Falmouth’s excellent maritime museum (45 minutes) and the National Trust Elizabethan house Trerice (15 minutes) for further peaceful times indoors.
