What customers say
This is a popular, family-friendly campsite with a beautiful pool, extensive activities, and friendly staff. Pitches are generally spacious and well-maintained, and facilities are kept clean, though some reviews mention dated shower blocks. Entertainment is a hit with children, and the location is convenient for exploring the area. However, some visitors reported issues with the pool booking system, noise, and occasionally insufficient toilet facilities during peak times. WiFi can also be unreliable.

Good entertainment and poor campsite
Electric grass pitch (comfort)
Liked Pool, playground, games, food and general activities like bingo, trampolines and meltdown.
Disliked No WiFi on our campsite or phone signal so was a complete dead spot - noisy campsite right next to football turf and arcade up until 11.30pm. Toilet block not near by about 5min walk

This is the 3rd time staying here and we will be back again
Electric grass pitch
Liked The grounds / pool are stunning the entertainment is good if u can get down early enough to get a table .
The location is great for getting out seeing the sites
Disliked The entertainment area main bar is small and if ur not there a few hours beforehand it’s hard to get a seat .
The grass electric pitch we stayed on was jam packed there is no space between pitches there was 4 in my row and 4 directly behind so was very noisy they could do with separating them slightly as my rent and chairs took up the whole pitch .

Ok but needs few tweeks
Electric grass pitch (comfort)
Liked Lots of activities for children including mask making face painting and mini disco ,pool was also nice and vibey
Disliked Toilet blocks dirty especially the males and toilets didn’t flush. Also think pool shouldn’t be prebooked , think it should be on first come first serve

Fab Holliday park with great entertainment…
Electric grass pitch
Liked Fab Holliday park with great entertainment and plenty to do.
Disliked Park needs cleaning more regularly as unfortunately some children were a little feral and were wiping s**t down the slide. Needs better monitoring.
Signal and WiFi was bad but we were on holiday so not an issue to us.

Very nice pitches, clean and tidy.…
Electric hardstanding and grass pitch (premium)
Liked Very nice pitches, clean and tidy. Swimming pool was amazing. Friendly staff with plenty to do. Great for the kids.
Disliked Need to clamp down on badly behaved children where the parents are nowhere to be seen. You know the ones where they just let their children run wild whilst they are in the bar on the lash.

Wouldn't stay again
Electric grass pitch
Liked Staff were very polite and nice to chat too
Disliked Unmonitored play area, my son got kicked in the face by a older child, who jumped down the slide, the camp site was riddled with ants and a huge wasp nest behind us, that never got resolved. Entertainment is a repeat every night, and very minimal benches to sit at. Entering the site is not well planned out and is a nightmare on entry day. Male toilets were constantly blocked with feces.

Lovely site. Would definitely go back for a 3rd stay.
Electric grass pitch
Liked As previously stayed at monkey tree, coming back was lovely. Probably better than previous stay, might be because we stayed for longer, and already know what it was about and what there was to do. Even after 7 mights the longest we have camped for we did not want to go home. Pitch sizes are really good, toilet block was always very clean, every time I went to the toilet it was being cleaned or had cleared just been cleaned. The entertainment was first rate. Food in the beach clubs was cracking, fish and chips was very nice although did Sean a bit smaller than previous time but still big enough. My son bring a couple of years older now had the freedom he needed to go off exploring and making friends and I didn’t feel I needed to check up on him every 2 minutes. The scoop deck ice cream shop is a great new addition. And the hire shop is a great idea although I didn’t use it but like it anyway.
Disliked Checking was completed carnage cars parked everywhere. But not really there fault. Couldn’t get a late check out was they were to busy to allow without paying for additional night, but again not a major issue. And only thing thing is the beach club is small for the size of site, so if you want to enjoy the main entertainment need to get in there early to get a table, we never had a issue but a few minutes later arriving we would have.

Lovely park,…
Electric grass pitch (comfort)
Liked Lovely park,
Disliked There was dog poo left on our pitch by the previous campers. You need to be checking pitches after people have had dogs on them. We had kids, it was lucky noone of them walked in it.

Staff were great and very welcoming.…
Electric grass pitch
Liked Staff were great and very welcoming. Tidy site. Good for small children.
Disliked A very loud site. Lots of people that were inconsiderate and ignored the times that should be quiet. Dogs barking at 2.30am. Not enough showers/toilets to accommodate the size of the site. Children left to run feral and ruin the play areas whilst parents got drunk in the bar areas.
