Private access to a three-mile sandy beach sound tempting? That's the fabulous feature you’ll get at St Ives Bay Holiday Park, set on sand dunes five minutes’ drive from Hayle in Cornwall. If you’re all piling in for a family holiday, you can spend days building sandcastles, running around on the beach with the kids and cooling off in the sea. Travelling as a couple? You’ll have spectacular sea views across St Ives Bay and you’re almost guaranteed colourful sunsets as a backdrop for romantic twilight strolls on the sand. And when kicking back and enjoying the views is not quite enough for you (and, let’s face it, the kids will want more), how about crazy golf, tennis or the amusement arcades? You can burn off more energy at the surf school or in the heated indoor swimming pool, and there are play areas scattered around the park to wear the kids out properly. With all this going on, make sure you leave time to unwind for a drink at the terrace bar with superb views over the bay and a menu of small, tapas-style snacks – there’s entertainment in the evenings too. Liked Fab location for the beach, good sized pitches. Good toilet/shower facilities, cleaned regularly. Friendly staff, good variety of restaurants and a well equipped shop. Definitely adding this site to our favourites for Cornwall!

Liked Liked the location, but no one fixed the electricity issue on the first night even though they had an out-of-hours phone number. Their solution was to move us to a different pitch after we had already pitched up and set up the awning on a heavily rainy night, with no compensation offered. Also, no one from the site checks whether other campers are complying with the rules or causing unnecessary noise and disruption. In short, there seems to be very little care taken for either the guests or the site itself.

Liked Location is amazing.
Views are perfect. Electric hook up area is first come first served basis so you can chose your pitch

Disliked The shower area is cold and definitely needs dome money spent on it, the washing up area is outside and open to the elements so washing up in the wind and rain wasn't fun.

Disliked Motorhome service points could be better and toilet blocks need updating emptying the toilet cartridge was not a highlight these areas all need to be better

Disliked Dogs should not be allowed to be walked in this area it’s a campsite. Dogs peeing all over is not hygienic!
