This is a relaxed, back-to-basics riverside campsite with friendly, helpful owners. Visitors praise the spacious pitches, many with river views, and excellent access for water sports. Campfires are permitted. The site is secure with a locked gate. Clean toilets and washing-up facilities are available. Some guests mentioned a lack of showers and the river access being slippery, though many found this acceptable for short stays. The playground is popular with children. Liked Liked the area. Lovely pitches near the riverside. Lots of toilets and drinking water taps. Enough trees to hide in shade. Walking distance to the pub. Even little swimming area, if you fancy jump into the river. Thank you, really enjoyed.

Great value for the money. Beautiful location
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked The site was clean and clear. It was great to be able to set up where we wanted (within reason, obviously!) We chose by the trees in the middle to be able to keep an eye on the kids. The whole experience was very relaxing, good fun and very sociable. My daughter had the time of her life (her words). The only thing I would like, that wasn’t available, was a shower. This didn’t really affect us as we only stayed 2 nights but we probably wouldn’t stay longer because of that. It was great value for money and we WILL be coming back.
Disliked Lack of shower
