What customers say
This spacious campsite is praised for its ample room and riverside location, ideal for activities like kayaking and paddleboarding. Staff are consistently described as friendly and helpful. Facilities, including showers and toilets, are generally noted as clean, though some reviews suggest they could benefit from more frequent cleaning or an update. The site's vastness allows for peaceful stays, even when busy, though some report noise from other campers. The Hop Farm itself is closed for refurbishment, which was a disappointment for some visitors expecting on-site attractions.

100% will be booking again! Clean facilities, large pitches, privacy!
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked The size of the fields are huge! Even though fairly busy, everyone was so spread out through each field you wouldn’t have known how busy it was at all. Very much a wild camp feel to it and brilliant facilities too!
Disliked Nothing to dislike in my opinion.
If you chose to pitch up in the furthest away fields, expect a bit of a walk to the toilets/showers/washing up area, other wise just drive.

Liked We liked the river nearby as we brought Kayaks with us.
Disliked The staff and the site. Loud music playing till 3am and although there was an emergency contact no one came out and dealt with their problematic guests.
It was expensive for what it was.
Facilities were always dirty and out of toilet roll.
Nothing for children to do (as advertised on the website)

Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Had the best weekend camping at hop farm. Beautiful place. My young daughter age 5 was in her element. We fished the lake and caught a couple little fish which she loved doing. Lovely walks along the river. Felt very comfortable pitched up. Lovely staff.
My partner's favourite part of the whole trip was the bootsale on Saturday and Sunday. Great we could have bbq and campfire. Toilets and showers very clean no complaints. Will definitely be returning in couple weeks. Great weekend away. Highly recommend.

Come back again,
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Loads of space, can keep good distance from other tents.
Fair clean shower rooms and toilets.
River swimming was very refreshing in hot day.
Disliked Toilets with code doors, don't know what was the point, but last niaght codes was removed.
Could be more toilets in other fields, as for no2 is quite a far way even on the cars,
Some pigs 🐖 doing 💩 in the bushes, loads of white flags in some pitches,
Few roads between fields could be filled with hard soil or rocks, as after rainy day was stuck in the mud.
