Liked The setting is great , the dog run area and the cafe, facilities are ok but improvements could be made .
Disliked On arriving we had booked grass pitch but weather had been very wet and said for us to use hard standing and was then expected to pay the upgrade although we can’t control
The weather ??
Shower toilet block looked a little sad as on a previous visit there we flowers and it looked spotless, the hooks in shower cubicles were rusty to hang your towel
On etc , could do with some mats down to wipe feet to stop so much mud walking in , and may be a mop bucket left for people to clean their area after use ?

Electric grass touring pitch
Liked Fabulous site with extremely friendly staff. The Cafe is comfortable with again super staff and superb breakfasts ;). We had a lovely 3 day stay with our great nephew, who loved the animals, especially the chickens which he fed copious amounts of chicken feed. The only suggestions we have is A licensed bar would have been the icing on the cake please consider ;) and the play area slides need attention either mending or renewing. xx

Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked Absolutely loved it all! Fantastic toilets and showers, the waterside cafe food was great and the farm trail was a brilliant addition for the kids to see the animals and feed the chickens. Kev had a great knowledge of the lakes and fishing and Phil always had a smile, me and my wife both commented on how hard they both worked, as all the staff did, super friendly.

Liked A really nice site; plenty of room for pitches. Cafe is excellent and very good value.
Also the kids playground looked like fun, and there were animals to look at
If you are into fishing then this is the place to be
Disliked Showers were ok, but the hot water didnt last all day, and by late afternoon / evening the water was only lukewarm.
Also the toilets got blocked, but the drain company did arrive to pump out fairly quickly
There is only one chemical waste disposal point and this was quite nasty and smelt awful
