喜欢 We booked this site as we had not long purchased our very first campervan. Having no experience of camping at all, we were so impressed by the facilities. The shower blocks are modern and clean, there is a washing up station, a washing machine, library and there is so much for the kids to do. The animal trail was really nice and the lakes are very pretty. Staff are really friendly, the pitches are well spaced. We camped with a one year old and a five year old and the children felt more than welcome there with a play area for them. This is only around a mile from our house and was a test site for us to get to grips with the camper but we will no doubt book another night as the kids loved it.

不喜欢 We actually didn’t have anything at all that we disliked, it was reasonably priced and far exceeded our expectations of a camp site.

喜欢 This site is always kept lovely . The staff are friendly . Added bonus of a lovely cafe and walks around the lakes .they also have a few animals that you can feed and walk through. A lovely new play area for the children .shoer block is always clean .

喜欢 Beautiful campsite, the staff were really friendly and helpful. Didn't use cafe but looked and smelt great. Nice hot shower.

不喜欢 Only thing was the pitches are named but not allocated and one evening we had to move spots. Would suggest a floor squeegee so customers can move water into drain as I have experienced in lots of other places, keeps floor drier too

喜欢 Large, level pitches around a big field so plenty of room between pitches and room for kids to play. Good location. A visiting friend with small child enjoyed the animal trail and play park. Shower block was heated.
The gate app was useful and worked from our pitch when our friend left.
We didn’t try the cafe but heard good things about it.
Free WiFi.
Useful fast food outlets 5 mins away if needed.

不喜欢 Showers were powerful and hot but the 5-10 second push tap is really irritating - I can see it’s used to stop water being wasted but even 30 seconds of continuous flow would be better.
WiFi - very patchy connection even with site not being busy.

喜欢 Quiet tranquil site, clean nicely presented facilities. Continues to improve, added winter changes are sign of commitment. Beautiful lakes well maintained as is the site itself the staff are all very helpful and courteous you will miss out if you don't try it

不喜欢 We were on the right lower part of electric hook ups. It smelled of waste water lid is not fixed to the waste disposal box a simple fix, wifi is not available in that area, dogs off leads were an issue for us but I understand hard to police.

喜欢 Very clean ,staff polite excellent food in cafe can get very busy .spacious pitchers. The only thing that can't be done is the noisy traffic at on the road at night.

喜欢 My son and I absolutely love this site! Clean, well run, professional service, great fishing and a lovely cafe with amazing coffee and tasty food.

The farm walk with chickens, pigs, goats, horses and alpacas is an added bonus, plus the play area and picnic tables are a welcome bonus.

Solid site wide WiFi, hot showers, a library of books and DVDs, and even a washing machine. The pitches are all well spaced and have well maintained electric hookups.

Would highly recommend and will revisit many times.

不喜欢 Just that one alpaca who gave me serious side eye. I couldn’t work out if it wanted to eat me or fight me. 🤣🤣🤣

喜欢 Have always had hard standing pitches and they are amazing, plenty of space.
The site is clean, quiet and in beautiful surroundings.

We like the site so much we keep coming back.
