What customers say
Sandwich Lakes is lauded for its spacious, level sites, friendly staff, and great cafe. Guests love the beautiful setting with fishing, wildlife, and nice walks. Facilities are clean, with improvements noted. It's ideal for fishing and a relaxing getaway. Minor mud in wet weather and occasional Wi-Fi/shower temp issues are mentioned, but most find it peaceful and good value.

Good cafe
Animals and park for kids
Lovely area
Waterpark opposite
Disliked Meant to be dogs on lead but constantly dogs off lead putting me on edge with my own dog. Not the sites fault but should be followed by other campers and it’s not.
Other campers unable to wash away shower water even though broom etc is left for them to do so. Toilets not as clean as previous stays.
Other than that nothing else to dislike.

Powered cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Great location with so much to do for all ages, particularly young families. We are a couple with a small dog, and it was superb with a large off-lead area. The cafe was nice. Note there is a lunchtime food cutoff at 2 pm.
