Convenient base for exploring the area
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Great location for exploring the New Forest, Southampton and Paultons Park. Being just off the M27 makes it really easy to get to and a good base for getting around, although you do get some traffic noise from the motorway. The site is very well signposted, so finding it is straightforward. It’s more of a practical, functional campsite than a scenic one, but that’s absolutely fine if you’re looking for somewhere convenient. The facilities were perfectly decent and everything we needed was there.
Disliked We expected plenty of families because of the nearby attractions, and that wasn’t a problem at all. What was less enjoyable was children riding high-powered electric bikes around the field like a race track, which could have been better managed. Also, some of the seasonal or semi-permanent pitches looked quite run down, and that took away from the overall feel of the site.

Liked A lovely campsite. Very welcoming and made sure we were settled and had everything we needed. A great big space in the centre for kids to play and run around. Everything you need for a camping trip, Toilets, hot showers, washing up area and a washing machine if you need it.
Everyone on site was friendly. We only booked a couple of nights as this was my sons 1st camping trip and he loved every minute, wish we had booked longer. I would definitely book again

Electric grass pitch
Liked The kids had fun but luckily they knew no different
Disliked Took my grandchildren for their first camping trip . It appears they have 2 fields , one was full of the campers and the other filled with ground workers . We were placed in that field with two 7 yr olds . This was not what I imagined their first camping experience to be like nor where we made aware we would not be in the main field . Very disappointing

Great campsite
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Lovely large grassy area in the middle for kids to play in. Owners are extremely helpful, I lost my car keys while staying there and they helped to search for them, thank you! Good location for getting into the new forest
Disliked The noise from the M27 is quite loud at night so if you are a light sleeper, definitely bring some ear plugs.

Liked The Campsite was perfect for our needs for a 1 night getaway. We were going to Peppa pig world so this was the perfect location for a quick drive there after our stay. The toilets and shower facilities were clean, with hot water.
