What customers say
This is a small, peaceful campsite praised for its proximity to an excellent pub offering good food and a wide selection of ales. Visitors appreciate the relaxed atmosphere, level pitches, and clean toilet facilities. Some reviews note occasional issues with the shower drainage and intermittent water supply to sinks, though these are generally seen as minor drawbacks in an otherwise idyllic location. The site is considered good value and many guests express a desire to return.

We as a group really enjoyed…
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked We as a group really enjoyed our stay. The pub was a vibe on the Saturday night
Disliked Unfortunately the toilet/shower block really lets this site down.

Wouldn’t go again, but had a nice enough time.
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Pub was nice, food was good and drinks reasonably priced.
Friendly enough vibe and nice location. Seemed everyone was quite chilled and having an okay time.
Disliked Facilities: low water pressure and unisex design meant there was only a limited capacity for a large amount of people. Sinks stopped working. Toilets stopped flushing. Everyone we spoke to was complaining about it.
Price: Expensive for what you get. No water facilities in the field such as a field tap, so everything has to be done from a big sink outside. Limited washing facilities considering the amount of people on site. Unisex toilets meant overcrowding.
Crowding: Bank holiday weekend was loud, like really loud. Very large groups of people smoking drugs, playing music loudly into the very late hours and beeping car horns.
A lot of people for a small field. Tents where packed together. It was alright but not recommended unless you enjoy "festival camping"
Lack of information: had no "check in experience" a lady eventually found us with a clip board but never explained what's what with the the site.
