What customers say
This is a well-kept and friendly site with a lovely location on the creek and a short walk to the beach. Staff are consistently praised for being welcoming and helpful. Facilities, including toilets and showers, are generally reported as clean, though some guests note they are a little dated. The on-site cafe/restaurant is popular. Water sports access is a key attraction.

Electric grass and gravel touring pitch
Liked nice campsite, great location, small and quiet, great toilet facilities with a decent hair drier.
Disliked -website was unclear as to what i needed to book with a vw t5 and awning.
-i was told that we could not sleep in the awning only in the t5 i then wasnt allowed to attach my awning to my t5?! despite other campers being able to do the same on the same pitch type.
-told to pitch my tent with built in ground sheet on the gravel i was not prepared to do this as the gravel would puncture the ground sheet, to be told " well everyone else does it"- there was still gravel on the grass area i pitched my awning on and guess what- it put a whole in my groundsheet!
-pitches not very well maintained i found numerous pegs, dog/fox poo on the gravel pitch on arrival
- some of us were sleeping in the t5 the assumption was that no one was sleeping in it- even when i told them we were sleeping in it he didn't seem to believe me.
man at the reception desk- didnt catch his name was overly friendly and came across condescending
showers- water comes out into the changing area, some of the lights were not working they are sensor lights. and showers only stay on for about 20 seconds.
