What customers say
This well-maintained campsite in the New Forest offers spacious pitches and the freedom to choose your spot. Visitors appreciate the friendly staff, clean toilets, and the unique experience of wildlife like horses and donkeys roaming freely. The location is praised for its direct access to walking trails. While many describe the site as peaceful and relaxing, some note the proximity of the A31, leading to occasional traffic noise. The lack of showers is frequently mentioned, though generally accepted for shorter stays.

Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Able to choose my own pitch. Whole area well maintained. Toilets and wash up area clean. Recycling available. Reception very helpful. Lovely to be able to pitch under the trees for shade. Able to park car by tent. Coffee and ice creams at reception.
Disliked No facilities for freezing ice blocks, this made keeping milk fresh very difficult especially as the nearest shop to buy milk some distance from campsite.
No shower, not unexpected, but with the extreme heat recently it would have been good to cool of and be clean.
