What customers say
This New Forest campsite offers a relaxed atmosphere with friendly, helpful staff. Guests appreciate the direct access to woodland walks, nearby pubs, and shops. The presence of freely roaming ponies, cows, and deer is a significant highlight. Facilities, including toilets and showers, are consistently described as clean and well-maintained. Some visitors note potential noise from the nearby road and train line, and ground can become boggy when it rains. Options for pitches vary, with some enjoying secluded woodland spots and others preferring open fields.

Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Il vero campeggio come ci piace. Ci torneremo ancora

Great location abd site
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Location
Spacious fields with variety of pitching options in trees or open field.
Walk from site to Lyndhurst across the heathland.
Easy access to bus and train service.
Disliked 1 side of shower and toilet block was closed Sunday night until Friday, meaning only 3 showers available at one time. Not enough for the number of people in school holidays.
Inconsiderate weekend campers making noise at 2am
Weekend was very busy, arriving Saturday gave little option for space to pitch.

Liked Great site meticulously managed extremely friendly and helpful staff. Good location. Very clean showers and toilet blocks. The people running this site know their stuff.
Disliked Would be good to have a freezer to leave your own freezer blocks. They offer frozen bottles of water which is a reasonable compromise.
