Overall we would return
Cocoon T camping pod (no pets, twin)
Liked Clean, tidy, warm,
Disliked only gripe was that in the toilet / shower block all the sinks had blocked and there was nobody available overnight early morning to sort it. T’s & C’s state no sign written vans allowed on site. When the value for money price per night would attract tradesmen to stay here when working away from home, such a shame. Although due to the lack of customers early March and the lateness of our booking we were allowed on site with my works van.

Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked Have been visiting this site in a motorhome for years. Hardstanding is flat. Facilities all working, heated and clean. Great connections with London.
Odeon next door (but a Lux, and seriously pricy for a northerner!)
You now have to leave your reg with front desk to avoid a fine. Barrier to site is code operated. (someone seems to have driven over the hill along from the barrier, maybe thats why you need your license plate?)
Nearby there is the lake, canal lock, and loads of birds around. In the morning a couple of geese and a fox were exploring with me.
Didnt try the wifi (hence not rated)
