Luxury glamping on an Essex farm, close to fishing, woodland walks, peaceful bike rides and the city of Colchester – and all within an hour by train from London. Make for Teybrook Orchard for a countryside weekend with the kids, a loved-up weekend with the other half, or to settle down in rural surroundings around a campfire with a few friends.
Teybrook Orchard is a family-run glamping site on a farm near the village of Great Tey, between an apple orchard and 20 acres of woodland, with loads of space to roam. It's about 10 minutes by car from here to Colchester Zoo.
Glamping units are scattered around the site, with plenty of room and privacy for all. Each unit comes with a private firepit/barbecue, table, chairs, crockery and cutlery; all are furnished with bedding provided.
The well-maintained communal facilities include a games room with table tennis and table football, and bathrooms with flushing toilets and hot showers.
