Liked We've been coming to this campsite many times and it never disappoints. It's a lovely, quiet place with loads of space, the pitches are huge, so you never feel crowded. The shower facilities are clean and good, and we love that real campfires are allowed, making the evenings even more enjoyable.
The hosts are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The campsite is surrounded by beautiful forest, with a lovely pond nearby, creating the perfect setting for complete relaxation. If you're looking for peace, nature, and a genuine camping experience, this is the perfect place. We will definitely be back again and again!

Amazing
Electric grass campervan or tent pitch
Liked There was plenty of space and the ground was well looked after, the kids made loads of friends and enjoyed water fights with the other camps and playing in the woods.
The woodlands were great for the kids to explore with a well stocked fishing lake.
The showers and toilets were very clean and spacious.
Pam and Francis made us feel welcome and comfortable from the get go and gave us all the information we needed.
Don’t miss out on the Bodgers trail!
A beautiful walk through the woodlands learning about the history and following the clues having fun finding all the hidden arrows and numbers to unlock the treasure chest!
Looking forward to returning as the kids loved it so much.
Thank you ❤️
Disliked We couldn’t stay longer!

Lovely peaceful campsite
Non-electric grass campervan or tent pitch
Liked Beautiful and peaceful campsite. Basic facilities but clean and welcoming.
It's a huge field surrounded by woods so you can camp where you like - we chose a shady spot which was perfect during the "heatwave".
Great that you can have campfires and good value for money. Owner is friendly but leaves you alone and other campers were very respectful, despite it being a bank holiday weekend. Would definitely return.
Disliked Facilities for freezing ice blocks would be greatly appreciated.
There were no electric pitches available when I booked, but in fact the electric pitches were quite close together and not in the shade. I was very happy with our pitch but being able to keep food fresh would have helped, particularly for a longer stay.

Electric grass campervan or tent pitch
Liked Really loved the site, amazing woods to walk around, standard clean amenities with good showers. Stayed over a particularly hot weekend and loved having the woods to hide in and explore. Lots of wildlife. We also did their woodland trail, definitely worth it.
